I had a wonderful set of appointments with Dr. Levy. I'm very grateful for his knowledge -- and his encouragement. I'd like to ask him a question though...Can you forward this question about getting a steroid shot to my back, administered by Dr. Heres: It turns out that I had a herniated disc in July and that is contributing to my back pain. I feel that I am slowly getting better -- still have significant back discomfort but not debilitating pain. Sometimes Advil seems to help. Sometimes not! My question is this: If one of the causes of the back trouble was the herniated disc, is a steroid shot to the lower spine going to help me at this late date? I have an appointment for an injection in late April -- not sure if it is worth the risk.. What is the cost - benefit ratio in my circumstance? Many thanks for any insight you can offer. Dr Levy, always takes the time to listen & explain everything. He makes sure you understand what is going on. Everytime I have seen Dr.Levy he always remembers me. It's been over 11 years & he still remembers almost everything about me. I'm really glad that I was sent to Dr.Levy over 21 years ago. I would recommend him to anyone cause I trust him with my problems & I have messed up injury to my lower back and pelvic bone.Thank you Dr Levy for always taking the time to listen to me about the problem I'm having.

Very pleased with Dr Levy. He had previously operated on my Son and my daughter in law and they referred me to his office. He was very knowledgeable and honest about what could be done and what could not. He took his time with me and did not rush my visit. Answered all my questions. I would recommend him to all!
