Dr Jane Hughes was so knowledgeable about Nystagmus & explained everything with great detail. She was the best pediatric ophthalmologist! They’re office is set up so nicely for the kids too! Great place & a pleasure to deal with.

I had adult strabismus for many years and saw many specialists while living in many different states. When I visited Dr. Dormas in Wheeling for a routine eye exam, he recommended Dr. Hughes. She is absolutely wonderful. She saw me right away, explained the procedure, and I had the surgery with no complications whatsoever. I am so grateful to Dr. Hughes. My eye no longer crosses and I no longer have double vision! Thank you, Dr. Hughes! Janice Barnett

Wait very long times in waiting room or back room after leaving waiting room, hard to locate, no normal phone operator available after 4:30, an after hours call center then making you think they closed or then hard to reach, they will not write excuses for siblings in the same family if you have nobody to get one off the bus if not their appointment. Not family oriented when numerous other doctors will do this so children do not have leaving with their parents count against them with school absences, they may want to reconsider this policy, and be like all the others. They don't care to help with this, or what you say regarding it. One lady in front office has a very mean tone too.
