Dr. Ritting is terrific. HIs patient manner is courteous and kind, and he has a knack for explaining orthopedic medicine in plain language without talking down to the patient. I recently saw him for a knee problem, and his diagnosis of a torn meniscus was 100% accurate (confirmed by an MRI). An arthroscopic repair may well be in my future, but for now, a cortisone injection is getting me by with a significant increase in both comfort and movement. PS All of the office staff with whom I've interacted have been professional and pleasant too.

Dr. Andrew star is excellent! He did my hip-replacement surgery a year-and-a-half ago, and the difference has been like night and day. I am so much better off now. Recently, I have returned to Dr Star to receive his A1-rated care - this time for my knees. I have the utmost confidence in Doctor Star's knowledge, expertise, professional demeanor, and friendly manner. Doctor Star is the entire package - one great orthopedist. Furthermore, I feel strongly in favor of the Rothman Institute.

Though Dr. Ritting was very professional and engaging, it seemed as if he was seeing me primarily because he was simply a Dr. at the center. After I had X-rays taken of my feet, the Dr. suggested getting an MRI, then scheduling a meeting with one of his colleagues who focuses on feet (he focuses on the shoulder area). I would rather have waited for the colleague who focuses on feet in the first place. Nothing against Dr. Ritting. I just don't think I should have been scheduled to see him given my issue was not in his area of focus.

Dr. Star is an excellent surgeon. He fully explained my hip replacement procedure and patiently answered all questions. Procedure went well and I was walking quickly after. I am now pain free! I highly recommend Dr. Star and his professional team.

He was very thorough and took a great deal of time answering questions and showing us on the X-rays and MRI exactly what we needed to know. He was patient and very kind. He did not make us feel rushed.

Dr. Star and his team at Rothman Orthopedics were excellent, thorough and very professional throughout the entire process of my full knee replacement procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Star. He is an excellent orthopedic surgeon!
