I went to see Ashleigh for check up after a procedure. She was very knowledgeable friendly, and helpful. My questions were answered in a way I completely understood. She is a credit to her profession.

After suffering for months with severe sciatica pain, after numerous attempts to treat it with medication, after months of wasted physical therapy, it was explained to me that I should visit a Specialist for a Steroid Shot. So I did. Unfortunately I chose an office that puts profit before patients. After being led to a examining room (where NO EXAMINING occurred) I waited 20 minutes for a young lady named Ashleigh who made a point to tell me she was a Spine Specialist, and the reason for the wait was to get me pre-approved for an MRI???) Even though she was aware of the pain I was experiencing, that it was NOT the result of a traumatic event, and that I merely needed a steroid shot, her main objective was clearly to PAD THE BILL. She spent maybe 5 minutes with me and never once examined me. Instead she sent me right next door (how convenient) to schedule an unnecessary MRI. So I could spend another few weeks in pain and out of work. AND costing me money. It's sad if this is what the Medical "Profession" has become. Needless to say I have elected not to get the MRI and to seek "genuine" Health Care elsewhere.

Firstly, to Dr. Vikoren and all of the staff at Bucks Orthopedics, my eternal gratitude and thanks for your skill, care, and professionalism! I do not have the words to describe how my hip replacements have brought my Life back to a more joyous level. To patients who are considering or are worried about the procedure: do NOT second guess the validity of going through with hip replacement! Now, here is a bit of information about me, to perhaps help someone navigate their own process: I was 50 years old when I had both of my hips replaced. I was bone on bone for the better part of two years. The daily grind (literally) of my work (mason/fireplace-chimney tech) and teacher of Muay Thai/Boxing was ROUGH. When my hips started to go south, much of my mechanics of core flexibility went out the door. It is not just that my hips didn't work, my back was working over time trying to compensate for the lack of movement. Not that I figured that out on my own. I was doing all I could just to keep going: PT, chiropractic, and my own regiment of stretching. Brutal. I could no longer go for a run, skiing became work (no THANK you), and a ton of daily joy went out the window. That is very daunting for the mind. Life ought to be filled with simple joys, it helps move us past the grind of work. I believed that my physical failings were based on my mind, and I had to learn that my body needed help. Suffering through is not proof of anything other than stubbornness. The process will take EFFORT! Being diligent about everything AFTER the surgery is PARAMOUNT!! PT, given effort, and dedication are on the individual! Everyone at Bucks County Orthopedics will give the individual the tools to heal and get well, but they do not control effort. I am still involved in my own healing at almost a year out from my first surgery, and it is worth the dedication. This surgery is a major shift in physical paradigm and I treat it as a crazy, lucky gift. I could not have had it performed had I not had insurance. Hence the two years of hard grind (I was uninsured until 6 months before surgery). Anyone who reads this, know that if you need to have a hip(s) replaced, it is very much worth the challenge. Life gets better!!! I am back to training and skiing at a high level!! Regards to all, Christopher

This is a great practice. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Butler takes the time to listen and has the expertise to offer different, effective solutions. He has successfully helped with my back issues for the past 5 years. Highly recommend.

Would recommend Dr.Park. Had 2 surgeries with him on my left elbow. Things are looking good, on the road to recovery now . Happy to have chosen Doylestown orthopedic.

My son suffered a fracture and treated here in Doylestown with excellent and professional care. Unfortunately, the billing department (which suspiciously transfers you to a different Philadelphia phone number) is not so professional. Care was in October 2022, received two pieces of mail together on the same day, February 7, 2023. The first was the actual statement dated 1/24/23 on its face for the co-pay for the October visit, the FIRST bill I received. The second letter was an ominous one dated 1/30/23 claiming that same balance on the 1/24/23 statement was "Overdue" and threatening "further collections activity" if not paid within 10 days of that letter, effectively demanding payment within 1 day of receiving the letter! Called the billing department and they were atrociously unconcerned with how ridiculous this billing practice was and offered no solutions other than to "notate" the file. Tried calling back to the actual doctor's office and automated system simply redirects your billing issue to that Philly number. I paid the co-pay, online, today, but did not appreciate the threatening letters with absurd timetables. So, bottom line, great medical care, but look out on the back end when they come heavyhanded for their money. 5 stars to doctors, 1 star to their billing department.
