David Craft's Online Review Report Card

I was in 5:30 am and I was back home by 4:30 the same day. Dr Crafts demeanor is one of caring for the patient and that comes across before, during and after the procedure. I was very fortunate to have Dave do my knee 9 years ago and 7.5 weeks ago I got a new hip. I am blessed and grateful that I had a caring and talented surgeon, which I found in Dr. Dave Craft.

I spent a decade trying to live with increasingly painful knees. Figured it was what came with the privilege of more years, and tried to live with it. It was a challenge, because I didn't know where the line was between comfort measures and surgery. For a long time I tried alternative measures. You name it, I tried it - KT tape, CBD creams, braces, pain patches, icing, chiropractic, massage, essential oils, adding turmeric, taking away gluten and sugar which my GP said are often inflammatory, that sort of thing. Each thing helped in its own way, for a while, but overall, it became clear I hadn't found a permanent solution. I finally got x-rays that revealed both knees were bone on bone, and surgery was the only course of action.. Dr. David Craft was the surgeon recommended to me, and he turned out to be the perfect fit. He is approachable, respectful, and clear in conveying what to expect. My first knee has healed beautifully, and in two days, I go back for the other! I can't wait!

I was having a lot of pain the last couple of years. I saw Dr. Craft and he completed bi-lateral hip surgery my left in Mar 2021 and right in July 2022. Dr. Craft gave me my quality of life back. Dr. Craft was knowledgeable and thorough on what was going to be best for me. I highly recommend Dr. Craft. Thank you again for all your help.

Dr. Craft did my TKR on 6-9-22. From the first out patient consult, I felt comfortable with Dr Craft. He was pleasant, thorough and explained everything very well. My one night hospital stay went really well at Abington Hospital and I recuperated quickly without complications with the help of his amazing PT staff at the Willow Grove office (Jinny, Terri, Amy and Val). I have to give a shout out to his Nutritionist Barb. She counseled me pre and post-op regarding my diabetes and with her help and encouragement, I lost 27 lbs, lowered my A1C from 8.7 to 7.0 and made it thru the whole process without any infection and with good healing of my incision. Barb is an invaluable resource! Thanks to Dr Craft and his staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Craft!!

Dr. Craft was amazing, he explained everything about my upcoming knee surgery. I would highly recommend him to anybody unfortunate enough to need this kind of surgery. Dr. Craft and Rothman Institute are amazing

Dr. Craft performed a total knee replacement on both of my knees, three years apart. The second procedure was robot-assisted. I was thrilled with the recovery from the first procedure and even more elated with the second. I was home the next day with both, walking without walker or cane in two weeks with both. I would recommend him to anyone considering surgery. He is kind, understanding, and the person you want to have on your team!

I delayed having my hip examined because of the fear I was feeling. On my first visit, Dr. Craft put those fears to rest! He is a kind, compassionate man who not only knows his profession, but also understands what the patient is feeling. I would recommend Dr. Craft at Rothman to anyone who is looking for a surgeon for a hip or knee replacement! He is the best! Everything that he told me to expect with my surgery was accurate! Pain levels, recovery times, every part of it, was exactly what he told me to expect! I just can't say enough good about Dr. Craft! You have to experience it yourself to see just how great he is!

I am 1 year post hip replacement and feel fantastic. Dr. Craft is not just a great surgeon but also a very kind and caring person. Easy to talk to and has a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend him.
