List of Douglass Nadel's Reviews
Dr Nadel has been my ENT since 2009 when I had my first sinus surgery. He has a wonderful bedside manner, really listens to you and your concern. Last year I had more issues and was able to get back intouch with Dr. Nadel, who took care of another sinus surgery and compounding issues. Currently I am seeing him again as something else came up. I have also brought my husband to him as well. We highly recommend him and trust him completely.
Saw Dr Nadel back in 2007 and again last week. I found him helpful back then and even more so this time. He clearly explained all that was going on with my medical issues and his staff handled the subsequent testing very well. Afterwards he said “see you in 2033” - even a sense of humor! ??
My examination by Dr. Nadel went very well. He impressed me as an intelligent, very thoughtful and caring medical professional. The staff was helpful and very nice, also. One couldn't ask for more.
Dr. Nadel treated me in the hospital from Christmas to and including New Year’s Day for a serious painful problem. He came every day to administer treatment until sending me home safely. I cannot thank him enough!
Dr. Nadel diagnosed my problem right away . He prescribed a treatment that will eliminate the symptoms.
Dr. Nadel had me waiting more than 45 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment, then another 10 or so in the room. I had my children (3 and 5) with me quietly coloring and talking amongst themselves and he TWICE asked me if I could make them stop talking. So his bedside manner was poor to say the least. As for the reason I was there to see him, he questioned my repeatedly in different ways about my symptoms making me feel like I was lying to him. After discussing my issues and him doing the exam he agreed I definitely had an issue that needed to be looked into. He ordered a CT scan for me, which I went to (30 minutes away and had a babysitter for my kids) without a doctors order because I did not get one from him and they turned me away.... I'm SO aggravated and disappointed. I won't be going back to see him or to his practice.
Dr Nadel is a very compassionate competent ENT doctor who has been treating me for several years .
Dr. Nadel is a person who takes the time to listen and resolve. Is a great listener and gets results for you. Dr. Nadel personally calls you as a follow up to make sure you are doing well. Great doctor the office staff is very professional and caring. Kathleen
Terrible, terrible. After an extremely painful throat surgery he prescribed Percocet for the pain, even though swallowing was agony. When my wife called to ask I f there was another way to manage the pain, he was annoyed and said I should "be a man." Every physician I've spoken to since has been aghast. Whether he's a competent surgeon, I can't say. But I can say he simply doesn't care about your pain or well-being post-treatment. I never even got a follow up call from his office. If you need ENT care, find someone else.
Run! Do not walk! Run far away from this incompetent Doctor. I saw this man to check on my throat, I told him I felt something growing in there. I had a persistent cough for over a year. He scoped me in his office & told me he couldn't find anything. I persisted & questioned him, he didn't care to be second guessed. I looked me in the face & said " it's gerd hon, take a pill. You'll be fine", he then walked out of the office leaving me there. Turns out it was cancer, had I listened to this megalomaniac I would have been dead. Stay away! Find a real doctor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
