Helping Hands Family - Aba Therapy's Online Review Report Card

My son has only been with HHF for 2.5 months and I'm already seeing huge improvements in communication, behavior, and how he problem solves. He also loves going there and looks forward to it.

Our child was with HH for one year and we didn’t see any improvement. On average we had at least 1 if not two call outs by the RBT’s every single week and there was rarely anyone to fill in which is pretty high considering how they first presented themselves. Out of 3 RBT’s only (Sorelle) was consistently positive, motivated and interactive. The director, Kevin Marchini, has no business being in this industry! He was unhelpful and very unempathetic. We feel that we were treated despicably by him and his attitude definitely trickled down to the staff including the BCBA (Maria). We noticed a complete change once we brought up one issue that we felt needed to be addressed. Almost immediately, weekly updates with the BCBA were halted without explanation and we went for almost 8 months without a single feedback about my child’s progress despite asking for it. After we made that recommendation, Kevin wrote a very harsh email (which he retracted from the rest of his colleagues, but I saw it) saying that I was “free to leave if I didn’t like HH.” All because I was being an advocate for my child. The message was very clear: he runs this center his way only!! I emailed again asking for a progress report and he responded by giving me the option for a discharge report out of Helping Hands. He has no heart or emotional maturity to deal with special needs kids or families. It’s easy for him to want my son out of “his” center because they know HH has cornered the market in our area. Please be careful with these people. I personally would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

We are so thrilled that our child is receiving services at HH. Everyone here is kind and thoughtful, and very accommodating of our needs.

I have a lot of experiences with other ABA agencies ad Helping Hands is by far by best experience. Everyone in all positions is caring, friendly, competent, punctual, etc. Give me great piece of mind sending my special needs child to such a wonderful place!

We are loving HHF so far! My son was with a different ABA clinic before HHF and we did not have the best experience. Since starting with HHF in July, we have been impressed by the open communication, amazing staff, and the commitment our BCBA and RBTs have to helping our son grow and thrive. He is excited each day to go to the clinic and is blossoming. We are thrilled to have found an ABA provider that we trust and know our son is safe, well cared for, and celebrated each day.
