Surgery was fine and Dr. Linson was very friendly. However, it was absolutely impossible to pay my bill over the phone. Out of 20 or more phone calls, they returned one, only about a half hour before they closed so that I couldn’t call back and make a payment. This bill went to collections without notice. I must have called more than once a week to resolve this to no effect. I was almost happy to pay collections in full because they actually picked up the phone and made it easy. Unreal. *Edited to correct spelling of "Linson".

Dr. Linson has a lovely bedside manner. Full stop. I was told by him that I had bilateral inguinal hernias along with an umbilical hernia that should be repaired and he suggested doing it laparoscopically/robotically. I had a lot of scarring from previous cesarean sections and an appendectomy. I went to him after a CT scan for right abdominal pain. The doylestown radiologist did not identify ...

He said I had bilateral inguinal hernias/ umbilical hernia that needed repair -suggested laparoscopic surgery. I saw him after CT scan for R abdominal pain. Doylestown radiologist didn’t identify any hernias. Had horrendous 5 month recovery -was left with original right sided pain plus complications on my left side persist today (no previous problem). I saw 2 other surgeons for this problem. 7 months later I developed a large umbilical hernia & small hernia at one of the incision sites. Abington surgeon repaired these easily. I spoke to radiologist who read original CT scan - why he hadn’t identified any hernias? His response: I didn’t see any. This confirmed by 2 more outside radiologists. 1st night post op I called on call service, never got call back-went to ER. Called office next day & told to see primary doc or urologist-that it problem wasn’t related to surgery. This was advice given to a fresh post op patient. No RNs, unqualified med techs answer questions.

Surgically removed appendix. Kid has multiple complications and not out of hospital a month later. CHOP doctors are trying to fix the mistakes remove fecalith but can’t see the kid recovering any time soon and probably will need a repeated surgery. Also, we were discharged from the hospital 3 days after the surgery with fever and pains. The kid was on Motrin for pain, that masked the fever. I was trying to explain that the kid was not ready to go home but we were kicked out anyway.

Dr Linson is an excellent surgeon. He is also kind, considerate, full of patience, and loves his work. I requested pictures of my procedure. He said he would email a couple. And he did! Very cool to see what was done. I am recovering well. Thanks Dr Linson! I highly recommend him.

I was in the ER with an inflamed gallbladder and was recommended to see Dr. Linson to have a cholecystectomy (remove my gallbladder). It was the EASIEST surgery I’ve ever had!!! I was in discomfort for maybe 2 1/2 weeks. 6 weeks later, you would never know I had it removed. He is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable and really took the time to explain things. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! He is rather new to the area and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Linson as a general surgeon.
