I had a frightening experience I know I had a seizure then I felt a injection in my are. The next thing I knew was that I was aware that I wasn’t inhaling and exhaling it stoped . I though is this how I die ? Then I tried to raise my chest to inhale and I did breathing in fell asleep. It happened again so I reminded myself of what I did before and started to breathe again. This experience was very upsetting but since I was so deeply medicated the whole time I was in the hospital I found I couldn’t even think the experience was so overwhelming. Patients are given much information before having a hip replacement but almost nothing other then don’t bend over or cross your legs after. Physical therapist can not tell me medical information so I had to get all my information from videos thank goodness they exist because I had so many questions and a need for information. Right now I suffer from bouts of depression I understand I still have a long way to go it’s only barely 3 months . But not understanding the healing process and why I have some problems it’s hard to deal with. When on my 8 week checkup I was told I was good to do anything I want and that not going to happen for awhile why tell a person that .

Dr Vikoren was all I hoped he would be. Very professional, friendly, I explained my problem and he said he could help me. They took an xray. He explained what my problem was and the course Of treatment. I would definitely recommend the doctor to anyone that need his care. I ho back in two weeks.

Dr. Vikoren has now replaced both of my hips. He explained everything, answered all of my questions, and was available to my physical therapist for a question when we were in a session. He has given me my mobility back, and taken pain out of my daily equation. Still recovering from #2, but already know it has changed my life for the better.

I highly recommend Dr. Vikoren and doing the same day surgery. Dr. Vikoren did my knee replacement and hip replacement. He did a great job and iam pain free. I highly recommend go home same day surgery. It was wonderful to go home and heal at home.

Dr. Vikoren is awesome. I was having trouble with my left knee for a long time. After being examined, Dr. Vikoren explained what was going on with my knee in a very down to earth manner. He took his time and answered every question that I asked. I would highly recommend him.
