When it was time for my second routine colonoscopy, I didn’t want to use the surgeons at my home hospital (Punxsy), not because they aren’t good (they are), but because of vanity and embarrassment. Dr. Smith was the perfect answer. I liked having a woman doctor, she’s the daughter of an old friend, and she’s good! Knowledgeable, explains things well, easy to talk to, and easy to schedule with!! Outcome: good, in spite of having one polyp removed.

I was referred to Dr. Smith for a colon resection and a temporary colostomy. I cannot say enough good things about her. She explains everything to you, she is very kind and knowledgable. I have completely recuperated. Dr. Smith had no problem in sitting down and taking time to explain why she had to do the procedure and what was expected of me as a patient.
