Thomas E Klein Md's Online Review Report Card

I was to get a cataract operation. I met with him the first week of January 2022. I have tried to call his office numerous times and cannot get through to anyone you get left on hold for 90 minutes at a time. The only way to contact is through Prism Eye care website, which is a total joke. It has been 11 months and they have not contacted me once I had to go through the aggravation of trying to get through to them five months ago so here we are 11 months later, and they have not contacted me once. stay away terrible customer service. Do not use this company.

Klein is the best. Always on top of his game. Makes you feel like a priority every time. Highly recommended.

Had my cataract surgery . OMG ! Painless, smooth experience!!! got lucky to chose him while selecting on net. Assistants and staff also helpful & nice . He and staff are polite & has got patience to deal with patients. Two thumbs up for Dr. Klein .

Dr. Klein is the most caring, compassionate, personable specialist I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. He is brilliant in the field of glaucoma and I feel completely at ease under his care. He is professional, warm, kind and patient no matter what questions I ask! I trust him implicitly; it is both an honour and privilege having Dr. Klein as my Ophthalmologist. Being renowned in his field, he has a busy practice and yet he always makes me feel valued and understood. For the past several years, I have been filled with both appreciation and gratitude for the care that he has provided.

Dr Klein did cataract surgery on my both eyes and after three months of surgery my vision is improved a lot and I do not have any problem since. Dr Klein is highly knowledgeable professional and I can recommend to everyone who has any kind of vision problem.

I have been a patient of Dr. Klein for fifteen years at Prism Eye Institute. Throughout the years, Dr. Klein performed all my eye exams and helped me manage my glaucoma. He is the main health care practitioner who monitored my eye exams, prescribed all my eye drops and specialized HRT tests. This year I was scheduled to have cataract surgery on both eyes. I trusted Dr. Klein's medical expertise. The staff are so deserving of a five star rating and then some, especially Peggy. During COVID-19, Peggy was more than able to facilitate all my arrangements. She was spot on and very knowledgeable. She explained everything to me before my operation and even took the time to speak with my daughter. Peggy is compassionate, knowledgeable and made me feel secure in the time leading up to my surgery. Her sense of humour is outstanding! Dr. Klein performed cataract surgery on my right eye nine days ago. He took the time to explain everything to me and I am recovering quickly. If there was an option to give a higher rating I would give Dr. Klein and his staff 10/10. With Dr. Klein and Peggy, I knew I was in safe hands. I am so pleased. For anyone under the care of Dr. Klein, rest assured, you are in good hands! Dr. Klein will be doing cataract surgery on my left eye in the near future and I know everything will go smoothly. Dr. Klein is one of the worst Doctor when it comes to patient interaction. He does not bother to answer any concerns that the patient may have. He constantly cut-off the conversation with the patient by saying "I already answered that question; were you not listening?" and repeated this multiple times regardless of what I asked......"Waiting time is not important. It should not determine your final decision". Personally, I found his consultation to be borderline unethical and unprofessional without any sense of helping a patient. He does not provide the patient with enough knowledge to make informed decision about any further treatment the patient may decide. Truly a frustrating experience. I would consider seeing this doctor again if I have a choice nor would recommend to anybody and would rather search for a better ophthalmologist elsewhere.

My experience with Dr. Klein was a disaster. My surgery was performed 5 months ago and I’m still receiving treatment at St. Michael’s hospital to correct a detached retina as a result of the surgery. I would. not recommend Dr. Klein.

I have been going to Dr. Klein for 25+ years .Dr. Klein is no longer the dentist at this office .Dr. Gaston areata is.I had the worst experience of my life with his secretary. they scheduled me twice and canceled me twice the day before my appt.She said stated you're not as important as other clients that need their teeth worked on. She stated if you don't like it you can go somewhere else. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak to dentist She said no you can't. I definitely do not recommend going to this place ever I give it zero stars ,No I give it Minus Stars - - - - -worse Dental Office!!!!!! Don't Go There!!!!!!

Dr Klein has been looking after my eyes for a number of years. He is very dedicated and helpful. Thanks Dr. Klein!
