I highly recommend Dr. Robert Detweiler at Family Medicine. Dr Detweiler is a very knowledgeable and thorough physician. He took the appropriate time to answer all my questions and was very helpful in how he explained everything. He is kind and compassionate and the staff is also excellent. This office has Walk in Express Care, Telemedicine and Physicians Assistance. They have convenient hours and are also open on Saturdays 9am-4pm. I’m greatful to have found such a great physician.

I was there for a workers comp visit and they billed Medicare and when Medicare didn't pay in fl they billed me.When I explained the situation to them directly they knew they where wrong.Now they try to bill me the remainder directly.I plan on filing a complaint thru Medicare and they them know they where intentionally billed when they should not have.

This practice has turned into a money machine - their only care is for the profit. During Covid early months I called and had a video talk with one of their nurses - NOT A DOCTOR !!! it all took 2 minutes for her to tell me that they do not test for Covid or treat and I should go to a hospital. Anyway to my surprise I was billed (after my v good insurance already paid them over $100) for copay as for a regular doctor's visit. I called to resolve and clarify but they insisted on getting their money for ABSOLUTELY NO services - for a long time insured patient and actually threw me out as a patient. Have they completely forgotten what doctors are about?????? No shame or conscience. 0 stars not possible.

Dr Detweiler is a good doctor. He listens to your concerns & tries to solve them. He is thorough. The front reception area needs work. It's like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. This is not good as it causes problems for people. That needs to be addressed. The attending nurses are very good & friendly.

This office is horrible. Sadly our family goes there and have had bad experiences with HIPAA violations as well as poor care. Their doctors/PA talk about their patients where other orients can hear and one even came in my exam room and the first thing mentioned was how he thought the "fat guy" that for weighed before me was probably going to break the scale. When I didn't find it funny he started reading me differently throughout the appt. They always ask "what do you want me to do for you?" Instead of stating what they as "professionals" think should be done.

I was treated horribly by practicing person ms. Shea. Now being billed for services NOT provided! Shameful excuse for a doctor office

Arrogant doctor who only cares about liability and shuffling as many people as possible through his practice like cattle. Seems nice enough until questioned about treatment, medications, etc. and then his true colors become very apparent. Beware!

The office staff are absolutely awful. They have horrible phone skills. They ignore you when you're at the counter checking in. There office is noisy. The doctors are immature about sexual health. Calling in for a referral, you don't speak to anyone and you don't get any confirmation.

I Had a appointment and when I arrived the girl at the front desk told me that my appointment was for a half hour before. She went to ask her manager what to do. The "Manager" said that even though the mistake was made by "Them", I could not be seen. My appointment was for 2:30 and I was told to come in earlier at 2:15 pm. They said I could go over to the urgent side, but they do not open till 2:30 pm. There wasn't room to sit in that waiting room and many people were before me. Even though it was Detweiler's screwup, I would not have the appointment that I scheduled!! Front desk girl didn't know if urgent care side could refill scripts. My wife and I have been patients at Detwilers for 33 years! The office has changed remarkably for the worst over the past year and a half. It's just a money business! No patient relationship at all !!!! I told the desk girl that I was finished with the office and would be finding another Doctor. Her response was, "Okay."

Detweiler Family Medicine is the poorest excuse for a health facility I have ever come across in my life. They're dealing drugs out of that facility and I'm currently reporting this to the FDA and the Better Business Bureau. I can't imagine the deaths and overdoses this place is responsible for. Office staff are not only rude, but incompetent. Doctors themselves most likely earned their degree online. This facility will be shutdown within the next six months due to their poor practices. They hold no moral values, no respect for any patient, and are only interested in what they can bill to your insurance company - most of this is fraudulent. They bill your insurance for services that were never rendered. They are only interested in being a pill mill to drug addicts because it's easy for them to collect the money. DO NOT go here if you value your health or your dignity. Stay away! Two doctors left the practice with no notice because they didn't want to have their name behind the Detweiler establishment. I'm sure once this place is investigated they will be closed immediately and indefinitely. Dr. Robert Detweiler himself will be walking out in handcuffs. I highly recommend seeking treatment at any other office in the United States. It would be more beneficial to visit your pet's veterinarian; you would most likely receive better treatment. I'll be happy to see him receiving the same treatment in jail that he's been giving his patients.
