I had Bi lateral knee replacement in March 2018 by Dr Amann. I can’t tell you how please I am with the results. I walk and play golf and still shoot in the 70’s.I was back to work in 21 days and I understand that is uncommon but if you put the rehab work in you too will have good results.I have recommended Dr Amann to all I know, and you will be completely satisfied with him, as he totally makes sure you understand what is needed and what is going to happen as well as what the expectations are for you and your particular case.If you need knee or any other orthopedic surgery, you need not go any further.Thank you again Dr AmannSincerelyTom ODriscoll

I've been seeing Dr. Amann for several years now for a significant ankle injury which required 4 surgeries as well as shoulder issues. Dr. Amann has been absolutely wonderful. He takes his time and explains things clearly. Never seems to be in a rush and I never end up waiting long. I recommend him unequivocally.

Dr Amann has operated on both of my shoulders over the course of 10 years. He is a real professional who explains everything, giving options for care and long term expectations.I have highly recommended him to friends and family over the years.

Dr. Amann is excellent! I have treated with him for a knee injury and had hip surgery that has changed my life. More importantly, he did a very sophisticated meniscal transplant on my daughter to deal with a congenital issue. Not only is she doing great but Dr. Amann continues to call or PT for updates while she is away at college! I have recommended numerous friends to his care without hesitation.

PRP - platelet (autologous) infusion of platelets were injected 1May 2019 in left knee because of pain, decreased exercise tolerance, some swelling. Timothy Amann explained ultrasound guidance was not adjunct, 'he couldn't fire it up.' Continuing pain, hindering movement was experienced after PRP 1 May 2019. After follow up visit mid- July 2019, Arthroscopic 'cleanup' was proposed. Reflecting on Amann's neglect to use USD guide during 1 May 2019 procedure, will consult more reflective, patient-centered practitioner. 'Cure of the patient is CARE of the patient' a la HIPPOCRATES! I highly recommend Dr Amann. Being a practitioner in healthcare, I understand the importance of good patient-dialogue, professional demeanor and proficiency. Dr Amann more than satisfied my needs by providing these traits and clearly outlining the short-term therapeutic goals and long-term at-home care considerations. 5-star all the way!

Very nice Dr with great bedside manner. Really tries his best to accommodate patients needs. Explains dmy surgery and recovery thoroughly to my husband.

I'm only giving a star because I have to, my husband has had two surgeries done by this doctor and he's still having problems. Regardless of the work the doctors done, everything during the aftercare is questionable. The treatment to his patients after long term problems is wrong! Never once have I gone to a doctor and have been made to feel like they were belittling me or treating me like I was an uneducated illiterate. I would never recommend him to anyone I know because of the way he treats his patients. It's horrible and he should be ashamed of himself.

I knew Dr Amann as a great doctor following my knee repair years ago, but I had no idea he is a certifiable rockstar on shoulders. It’s 3 weeks past my rotator cuff, spurs and other boring old part cleanup and my PT group is amazed by my mobility and progress. I owe it all to Dr Amann and the fantastic PT group at NovaCare. I feel like T.O. getting ready to return before the Super Bowl.
