Robert S Bloch Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Block cared for me briefly in the emergency department. He told me I have 10 years to live with my diagnosis. Who does that? His statement has caused me a great deal of anxiety.

Dr Bloch was covering for my surgeon one weekend while I was in the hospital. He was very arrogant, condescending, and documented false information in chart. I’m glad he is not my actual surgeon...I would never let this doctor perform surgery on me. Do yourself a favor and find a better surgeon!

He is an incompetent arrogant sub-par physician.

I had to have a mass removed from my left pectoral muscle. It was large and uncomfortable. I made my appointment with ease, and because of my experience with surgeons my expectations were of someone a bit cold, and my guard was up. Dr. Bloch sat with me, talked with me, went through the entire process with me, eases my nerves, and most doctors like the one I just saw days ago don't want to be bothered by any extra steps. LAZY!!!!!! Dr. Bloch called one of my doctors, when he did not have to, and spent some time talking and explaining what was going on with me with my other doctor. The reason for the call had to do with the medications I was on. Dr. Bloch never skipped a beat, never made me feel bad, and everything I needed done he did with ease. My surgery went perfect, didn't need pain meds past the second day. If you need more time with him, tell the receptionist you really need more time than the usual for talking. I trusted him with my life, and happy I did. I will be doing it again very soon.

Dr Bloch is an excellent doctor and surgeon. After many years and many visits to other doctors to help with pain from a hernia repair (performed by another doctor), we finally found Dr Bloch. He was the ONLY one who took the time to listen, to examine and finally to operate and correct the problem. His office staff was also helpful and professional. Thank you, Dr Bloch, for helping us!

I had a breast biopsy 3 months ago the incision broke open a week after the surgery and kept getting bigger and deeper. I was on a wound vac for about a month and had an allergic reaction to the tape to help secure the vac. they put the vac on hold and did a wet to dry treatment for now. I have a VA coming to my house three times a week and then I go to the wound center every Tuesday. my wound is not healing even though the doctor says it is its not , its tunneling and getting worse by worse I'm mean deeper and it's very painful. I have nerve damage where I am completely numb but still in a lot of pain. this doctor has put me through two surgeries and nothing has helped. please if anyone is referred to this doctor don't go. he is very I don't want to say mean he is very cocky and rushes his work to get in and out of patients rooms when seen, he doesn't sit down with them and explain every little thing. Please do ur research on surgeons or doctors before going under anesthesia or thinking about surgery.

I am very stunned about some of these comments my son had horrible stomach pain and emergence rooms and other doctors blew us off and DR Block figured out his problem and fixed it in surgery in as a day, he also operated on my me a number of times for different problem 2 life threatening I have to say i think he is tops. also when i get a call back from his office a lot of times i got a call from him, himself. Sorry i cant agree with some of these people.

7 months post surgery I still suffer from complications of my condition and needless to say I am in greater pain now. Dr. Bloch assured me that the route we were taking for surgery was the best. I discovered that wasn't quite true too late. After surgery his staff even gave me a hard time about making a follow up appointment basically telling me Dr. Bloch didn't have time to see me. I never got that appointment. This was a horrible surgical experience for me, and I've had more than my share of them. Never again with this guy or Easton Hospital.

He messed up my surgery. Now I am changed for the rest of my life. I wish I would have had enough knowledge to go to a specialist. I talked to several people after my surgery that had complications from his surgeries. He seemed very confident. After my surgery he did not own up to things and lied. It's ashame.
