List of Einstein Bariatric Surgery At Elkins Park's Reviews
The front office staff of this particular facility is a whole JOKE! I have had so many questions for the dr. or his assistant, but I was NEVER allowed to speak to them or even leave a message to get a call back. The front office staff took it upon themselves to answer any and all questions that I had never mind that I wanted to speak to an actual dr. Anytime you call, to me, it felt like you were bothering them or they were short with you answering a question. The sad part is that because of how the front office treats and speaks to people it made me want to call of the surgery all together just so that I didn't have to deal with the staff at this office. Even today when I called to see if all of my info was received via fax, the young lady I spoke to was short with me and didn't feel interested to help me in the first place. Long story short if you can find another place to go then I suggest you do that because here you will not get the help that you are told you will get.
Working with Dr. Dallal was a wonderful experience. He is a knowledgable surgeon who was great at explaining the process. However, his office staff are a complete nightmare to work with. It is impossible to speak to a nutritionist, PA, or the doctor. The front office staff are rude and completely lack empathy for people undergoing bariatric procedures. Anytime you call with a question, they refer you to the packet. When you tell them the answer isn't in the packet, they still refuse to let you speak to a doctor. The nutritionist does not give one-on-one counseling, and all appointments have to be in group settings via Zoom. All Zoom sessions are non-confidential, and require you to use your first and last name - there are no measures taken to protect patient privacy and PHI in these sessions. If I had to do the procedure over again, I would choose another doctor (even though Dr. Dallal was great) because the lack of communication and respect makes post-op care even more challenging than it normally would be. Do yourself a favor, and stay away from Einstein Bariatrics because you will not get the care or support needed.
this is the horrible hospital ever
All staff are great.. Even when I got on there nerves lol dr Dallal was amazing and very knowledgeable love the staff I will recommend this place to get your Bariatric done. My overall experience was awesome
The doctors are really cool! and there service and speed was amazing, there was a 4 hour wait but there was like 20 people ahead of us so that is 1 person per 12 minutes which is really fast.
People if you're thinking about coming here for any kind of healthcare especially Einstein Montgomery hospitals don't wanting the warning these people are hiring a bunch of hood rats they have destructive ways and attitudes about them they are true demonize people you cannot get the help that you needed this Hospital avoid at all costs
Went to main Einstein hospital and was told i had 9 ppl in front of me plus 2 shooting victims in the back. After waiting 2 hours i decided to go to Elkins Park ER. As soon as i signed in i was escorted to the back. The staff were amazing. My bf got a reclining chair and a pillow so he could sleep. They gave me pre-warmed sheets to cover with. I was so comfortable. I would never go back to the other hospital.
Caring staff, short wait times, clean bathrooms and free parking!
This review is regarding Endocrinology Associates at Elkins Park located at 50 E. Township Line Road. I have been a patient for many years, and their office staff is wonderful. They are organized and are great with my appointments and other details - they genuinely care which makes the difference. Regarding the physician, Dr. Nissa Blocher, is very knowledgeable and caring. The only issue is that she tends to mix up other people's insurance with mine. For example when ordering a test, she will write something different on the script than normal. When I asked her about it, she said, that 'other people's insurance restricts them .... and so I added this detail.' The problem is that the detail she added is not accurate to my health, and, is not relevant to my insurance because my insurance is very good and does not have these types of restrictions. She tends to be defensive when I try to speak with her about it. Other than that, everything is excellent. Thanks.
Hospitals are always dependent on who is taken care of you on any given day. I came in one day and things went mostly fine. I was there for an asthma attack. Although I'd brought my medical paper work as well as, ID. The nurse still kept asking me questions , eventhough I could barely breathe. The rest of the care was acceptable and appreciated. Fastforward. Brought my husband in for pain and flu like symptoms. The Dr. apparently didn't like being asked questions. She actually responded to me that," it does't matter if he has the flu because the treatment plan is the same and wewon't be giving him Tamiflu because there is a shortage". When I reported this to management, He apologized, followed by a " But"and preceeded to tell me she was having a busy night. The Dr.s attitude was confrontational and managements response was more protective of the Dr. than concerning from my point of view. Bottom line. Its's russion Roulet when going to this ER. My care ok, but ththe care my husband had was #1 on a scale of 1-10. Gotta stay prayerful. Kecia

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
