List of Anupam Srivastava's Reviews
The office struggles with communication and customer service. I experienced a lack of communication in scheduling my initial appointment and in receiving my biopsy results. The staff fails to acknowledge any ways in which they can improve communication. During the initial meeting with the doctor, I was in followup to the question “Do you have children?” “Is this by choice?” I found this followup question to be offensive in the way in which it was asked. If you’re looking for responsive and thoughtful care, look elsewhere.
Will not go back! Two visits, each with same experience, so it wasn't just a bad day. Doctor doesn't allow exchange in conversation. Don't try it, you'll be met with curt statements. This is doctoring from 1940! Office staff is rude. They all forget they work for the patient, not the other way around.
I went to see him because I need to reboot my care, life has been crazy and I needed a fresh start. He barely spoke with me before wanting to put me on insulin. I told him I was not comfortable with that and to give me a chance to get my act together. He told me "I don't believe you can change." The last thing that a patient needs to hear from a doctor is something like this. With the slight change in meds in less than a week my sugar went from the 220's to less than 150, I can change and I am changing.
Dr. is always courteous and cheerful. It has taken some time to develop a good dr/patient relationship. He is very knowledgeable, though not a gregarious man. The follow up is good and the staff excellent!
I have found Dr. Srivastava to be kind and attentive to my needs during my three years with him. The difficulty has been getting prompt responses for prescription requests. It caused me anxiety when I needed the prescriptions, was told they would be called in that day and yet days later they still were not. So my issue is not with the medical expertise of the doctor. I give him a very high rating - the issue is the poor administrative response to my calls and requests. I hope that can soon be ironed out. He is too good of a doctor to be blemished with an easily correctable remedy.
Saw doctor on three occasions for thyroids nodules...ultrasounds and biopsies. He doesn't speak during procedures to let you know what he is doing, and when communicating concerns about your condition, he replies with dead silence. You might as well be talking to a wall. I was referred to him for nodules and a biopsy and he asked me why I was there and told me he had no labwork and that nodules and abnormal lab values (that my PC doc sent me to him for) were "no big deal." I never even got a call back with my biopsy results. He said in my chart that he did a physical exam, and never once did he actually do one during any of my three visits. I will be finding a new doctor, and would advise anyone to steer clear of this one. Not a single positive thing about any of my experiences with him.
Was told biopsy results would be in by last Friday and still waiting late Tuesday. Called Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Was promised a call by end of day Tuesday and nothing. Please either don't give unrealistic expectations or simply pick up the phone and give me the news. Think as if the shoe were on the other foot.
Love everyone who works here!
Wouldn’t trust him with my hemorrhoid let alone my thyroid. Increase my dosage by 40% at a time? I'm no expert, but I pretty sure it doesn't work like that and leave you feeling sell. TSH levels went way high and he said everything was normal. I said bye-bye! Also spends no time with the patient during the visit despite no other patients in the office.
Worst doctor I ever had. Not sure about diabetes but I feel this doctor totally lacks knowledge of osteoporosis and treating it. Also I think he is scared of insurance companies.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
