I had to wait over an hour to be seen what are appointments for did not like him he told me if I didnt do what he said or go to a schedule test he would not see me again he said he would fire me and I had to get my medical recorder and chest xr and ct scan results so I fired him .I will travel to Lake Way and see a real pulmonologist with Baylor Scott & White

Dr. Patel and his team are phenomenal and I couldn’t imagine putting the fate of my health in anyone else’s hands. They are thorough and their bedside manner is top tier. They assured me in every way that I would be taken care of and every procedure I went through was a breeze. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his amazing team.

Do not waste your time with the incompetent lying office staff here. Find a caring provider that understands that life happens. I called for my son who had a virtual appt scheduled (no record in the office) for 9/28. I was called a liar by their office manager and hung up on by her. Completely un professional. I would give negative stars if it was possible. Find a compassionate considerate pulmonary physician. Avoid this place at all cost. There are many better providers. Worth the drive.

Dr. Patel has an exceptionally positive bedside manner. He allows ample time during appointments for the patient to ask questions. He is very thorough and provides detailed, easy-to-understand information. The office staff is very helpful and kind. They go above and beyond! The office staff is committed to helping the patient and providing the best patient service!

I have no reservations about Dr. Patel's competency, however, I will no longer remain under his care or recommend him. The constant pattern of over-booking to maximize income without regard for the patient was again exhibited today. 1:40 appointment with no less than 9 voice, text, and email reminders which I understand. Arrived 10 minutes early out of respect for Dr. Patel's time. Sat in the lobby for 65 minutes - zero communication by the staff and then led into a treatment room. 29 minutes (timed) before Dr. Patel entered the room - total 94 minutes after my appointment time. The norm has been 30 minutes in the lobby, 30 minutes in the treatment room after the appointment time. Never any communication by staff. Thanked Dr. Patel for his care over 5+ years, have no intention of ever returning.

Dr Patel is extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and explains testing/findings in full detail. He ensures you have full understanding of your health and answers any questions/concerns you may have. His staff is amazing. They address you in a respectful manner and explain paperwork/copays, etc. There was a bit of a wait to see the doctor but it’s totally worth it. It only means that he is giving the previous patient the same amount of courtesy and treatment that he will give to you. His staff is very good about keeping you updated. Will definitely see him again if/when needed and would definitely recommend him.

appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm it was 3:15 and still waiting in a small closet size room to be seen. I was always the next patient when asked how much longer. Finally left without being seen at 3:30 pm

Dr. Patel is great. I give a low rating because when it comes to authorizations being sent in for medical equipment, return calls in a prompt fashion, following up on open issues, and remotely convenient appointment hours... it's severely lacking. Insurance companies are tough to deal with, but I just made a call myself to resolve an issue that has been open for 4 weeks now... it took about 10 minutes to fully resolve. I find that the source of the issue was a failure for a medical authorization to be sent in on behalf of the doctor. The score reflects the results thus far.

Absolutely fantastic doctor! Highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff, especially staff member Teresa. Professional, courteous and attentive to your needs. Dr. Patel one of a kind doctor, wish more like him.

Dr. Patel performed a Colonscopy and GI Procedure on my this Jan. I am still trying to get his procedure notes. I've requested many times and have left my number. His office calls me an says everything is ok. I have went to another GI doctor at the medical center and he asked that I get those procedure details. I go back again, everything on emails, and his officed says the information is on Baylor Mychart. I look again, nothing. This as been going on since Jan. 24, 2019. His office assures me Dr. Patel is seeing all my emails.
