Dr Mendelson is great doctor!
Baby had to get brace for hip dysplasia he made the experience great. Very informative
My baby had to get brace for hip dysplasia he was very informative made the whole experience great.
I got a spinal fusion done and he did excellent. Has been nice to me, but has done things that made me uncomfortable. I can believe the worse reviews cause I talked to him at my work on the phone, did not recognize me, and was the rudest person I have dealt with so far.
Seen him most my life. Fixed my hips well and did a excellent spinal fusion. Has occasionally made me me uncomfortable though. Is good as far as doctors go, definitely see him over Dr. Timothy Ward. That guy was a huge jerk. I had to talk to Dr. Mendelson outside of his work, didn’t recognize me, and he was extremely rude. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a jerk with other patients. Pros Mostly nice Good surgeon Flexible schedule Nice, and mostly good staff Cons Had to take a pregnancy test. One nurse was convinced I was pregnant, thin 16 year old. Basically tried to get me to admit it. Half convinced me I was pregnant, even though not possible. Dr. Mendelson made a joke about it in front of my dad. Which I think was inappropriate looking back Staff has mixed up my paper work with someone else, had to correct them myself Was told he now only worked at one location, 45 minutes farther, wasn’t true Had several nurses after surgery who had no clue what they were doing He patted my knee, at 17, when asking me to stand up
My 12 year old daughter broke her arm a day after Christmas. She was casted for 3 weeks. Dr. Mendelson removed the cast in January and wanted us to follow up in February. My daughter could not straighten her arm and she started to get pins and needles in her fingers, numbness, and pain. We went back in February for xrays, we told Dr. Mendelson about the issues with numbness, pain, pins and needles, and that my daughter couldn't straighten her arm. He said that's normal for a cast just being removed. I told him you removed it last month. He looked at my daughter and I and said well she's gonna have to deal with the pain! I was speechless! We got a second opinion and found out she has a compressed nerve. He prescribed physical therapy which she should have been doing. I will never recommend Dr. Mendelson. Read Les

Dr. Mendelson has been a HUGE part of my daughter's care since birth. He instantly identified many abnormalities that were not seen by our hometown hospital. Wish I could give him more than a 5 star review, he certainly deserves it. (Rare form of KEDS)
Dr. Mendelson, has been such a huge part in my daughter's care since she was born. I cannot say enough good things about this surgeon! He instantly identified abnormalities that our hometown hospital overlooked. I wish I could give him more than a 5 star review. We will be forever thankful for his time! (Rare connective tissue disorder)
He's terrible. I had two ankle reconstructive surgeries done by this man. The only reason I gave him 1 star is because he fixed my one ankle, he completely ruined the other one. He operated on my ankle when I was 13yrs old, he fused two joints that weren't supposed to be fused together, and that was confirmed by two separate orthopedic surgeons. One even out of state. He left nerve endings in my incision site AND he crushed my nerve endings by tucking them into my joint and fusing them back together. I'm 21 now and I still live in CONSTANT pain and I can't even drive correctly cause this a-hole. He walked in the morning of my surgery, yawned and said he was gonna try and brand new technique on me. I was his flipping guinea pig and also his last surgery of the day, so he was tired. But he reassured myself and my parents he can do this surgery. We should of walked out. Now I'm living in constant pain because of his arrogance. Thanks Dr. Mendelson.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
