List of Upmc Children's Community Pediatrics's Reviews
Do not take ur children here. This place is very unprofessional. And not correctly attend to ur children's needs. Even if u are on time or a little early for appointment u will still be in the waiting room just waiting a hour later. So this place really gets zero stars.
This Place is Terrible.. The nurses are all stuck up and moody., Everythings is on their time and i hate thay my children have to wait on these lazy people.. the receptionist ( All) constantly have attitude. You would think they care for your kids as much as you do but nope. It's all about talking and relaxing at the desk.. just Terrible.
If you are a young mom which I am, don’t be surprised if they treat you like you don’t take care of your baby. One of the nurses told me pretty much that I starve my baby even though I feed him breast every 3 hours. 30 min before his appointment I gave him a 4 oz bottle of breast milk and I told her that and she made me sit in the room to feed him more (cold breast milk which she knew) which then led to him spitting up. Oh and let’s talk about how when you call the people are not very nice speak to you in a disrespectful rude tone.
I am so extremely disappointed in this office. The person who does shots here is so incredibly mean about it, I’ve had so many shots in my life and honestly if you don’t love kids you shouldn’t be working in a pediatric office. I also feel this way about the other staff. They ate not happy, there is no care in that office at all from staff. Both of my kids are sick and I’ve been calling since Wednesday ( a week ago) to figure out what is going on with them and I didn’t even get a call back and I finally called again on Friday and then again today and they won’t even see them. It truly makes my heart ache that these are the people who are supposed to care about the well being of our children and that this is their attitude. I have never felt less herd or more disrespected and the fact that this is my kids makes it even worse
The doctors are really nice and caring. However the front desk ladies and most of the nurses are rude. The front desk ladies act like they don’t see you when you’re standing right Infront of the window. And the nurses have no compassion towards kids, one of them had no patience with my daughter when taking measurements and she seemed like she wanted to touch my daughters face because she didn’t stay still for a shot. I still need to get in contact with someone to report this because it didn’t seem right at all.
The doctors and PAs are wonderful. The office and nursing staff are ridiculously uninformed. I tried to get my child's records sent to a specialist and they said since she was over 18 she was no longer a patient. My child was under the age of 18 when the referral came about
Doctor Webster is truly amazing! My only complaint about going to a bigger office is very rarely do we see the same provider. My child's last pediatrician was great we seen her and only her for every visit its great 5o have a doctor that is familiar with your child I try to keep the same Pas and CNP for visits but sometimes it's hard as they have tons of patients but again doctor Webster is an amazing doctor and as a mom it's very important to me to make sure my kids have the best medical care providers
Dr. Webster and Dr. Moore are as amazing in the same measure as the front desk is extremely, ridiculously rude. The front desk has no care or compassion and act like every call is a bother with no solutions. They will quickly transfer you to the nurse's voicemail. The fact that only positive reviews on here are responded to is extremely telling. It is clear that they have this same unprofessional staff responding on here.
This office is very poorly run. They are extremely hard to get a hold of. They take forever to call back and this is prior to covid. They’re inefficient! The entire office takes lunch at the same time so there is no one to assist for an entire hour of the day, instead of staggering lunches and prioritizing their clients needs. Very frustrating! They also tend to leave their out of office on, so although lunch is supposed to end at 1pm… it’s almost 1:20 and I still can’t get a hold of anyone there and I’m getting an out of office. It’s a shame! I really expected a lot better from a Hamot office.
I have the same review as several others. The doctors are great. The front desk is very rude. They single handedly have nearly ruined several visits in the past but I tried to just overlook it and give them the benefit of the doubt. I am unsure if they dislike UPMC that much that they are beyond bitter? I have heard that in the community in general. Perhaps that's it? They lack any compassion as well. I hope they find a job that makes them happy and enjoy coming in to work! I understand we are all human and we have bad days but it's every visit unfortunately. Oddly enough I left another upmc practice due to the front desk staff but have had no issue with AHN/st Vincent's. They actually are positive and enjoy their jobs, try to help you and at least show they care. It's a complete 180.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
