Dr. Hess and his assistant Claudia Are very thorough in their approach to annual skin check ups. I love their follow up and they make sure that we’re doing everything we can to detect skin cancer, etc.. This is a well run company with great doctors, nurses and Technicians! I highly recommend!
Be advised that if you have an excision done at this practice, they will charge you an additional $200 for the suture removal. Every other practice I have visited for this type of procedure includes this standard follow up visit as part of the cost of the overall procedure.
I had a great experience with Kylee Kiger for my lip filler. She made me feel really comfortable and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The process was smooth, and I’m so happy with the results! My lips look natural and exactly how I hoped. I’d definitely recommend her!
I was recently at this office for an appointment and had a deeply uncomfortable experience in the waiting room. Another patient was playing political speech on speakerphone, and a second patient responded by clapping and cheering. I approached the front desk to flag the situation, but the staff member deferred to the office manager, who took no action. When I brought it up with the doctor, his response was equally dismissive. When I asked him if he supported this behavior, he said he saw no issue in allowing someone to listen to whatever they want on their device (without headphones…). When I also pressed on if he supported the person (giving the speech in the recoding being played), he told me he doesn't discuss politics because "this is a place of business" — which is PRECISELY the POINT. If the office holds that standard, it should be applied consistently, including when patients are creating a politically charged atmosphere that makes others uncomfortable in a small space like the waiting room. A medical office should be a neutral, welcoming space for ALL patients. The failure of staff and the physician to address disruptive behavior in the waiting room reflects poorly on this practice's commitment to patient comfort and professionalism. I hope they revisit their policies around maintaining a respectful environment. And to be honest, as a woman, I do not feel safe or respected at this practice. Not only were 2 men allowed to behave this way in the waiting room, but what was to be my exam appt (skin check), was a MALE DR AND MALE ASSISTANT. No female present in the room with me. I refused the appt anyway due to the situation, but it’s clear women are not provided a supportive/comfortable space…
My son and I both see Sarah Humbarger. She has been truly amazing! I can always get an appointment with her, even last minute, which makes a huge difference. She has been incredibly patient and kind with my son, especially when he is feeling nervous. She always takes the time to make him feel comfortable and never rushes him. Sarah genuinely listens to her patients, is incredibly knowledgeable, and always makes sure you fully understand the treatment plan. We feel very well cared for, and I’m so grateful to have found a provider who is both skilled and compassionate. I would highly recommend her.
I started here in April 2025 due to acne concerns that have lasted decades now. Dr Hess is the first provider who I have felt took his time to truly listen to my concerns and feedback regarding previously attempted treatment plans. Together with his guidance and the amazing Kasey who has provided excellent skin care regimen suggestions and laser/facial treatments, my skin is miles better than it was in April. I’ve also worked with Michelle who is very kind and the new front office girl (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!) was incredibly considerate and went out of her way to get me in during this very busy holiday season.
Love Center City Dermatology in Exton! My recent visits were with Kasey, an incredibly sweet, professional, and gentle esthetician, who performed 3 micro needling treatments on my face and neck. The treatments increased the elasticity and moisture in my skin and decreased the appearance of fine lines and dark spots. I am 100% satisfied.
I have been a patient of Center City Dermatology for many years. I see Dr. Hess every 6 months to a year for skin checks, and he is extremely thorough and has excellent bedside manner. I’ve had several biopsies and removals, and we always discuss the pros and cons and make educated decisions about any procedures we do. I have recently started seeing Kasey Moore, Esthetician, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her. I started with a hydrofacial, and then took my 10 year old daughter and me to get angiomas treated on our faces. I was anxious about having this treatment done on my daughter’s face, but Kasey was comforting, reassuring, and patient. My daughter and I are incredibly satisfied with the results! I’m now seeing her for Sun spot removal, and will be going back for another hydrofacial and microneedling. I highly recommend both Dr. Hess and Kasey Moore!
First time having a hydra facial with Kasey. She was amazing, sweet and professional. Can’t wait for my next appointment with her.
Dr Hess didn’t show up to my 8:00 am appointment. His assistant said they even didn’t know when he was coming in. I had to leave to go to work. No apology or Later explanation provided. Maybe the other PA’s are good, but it’s been a problem with long waits or, in this case, a no show.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
