Was my son's surgeon years ago for rotator cuff....now he is mine. I have a few things going on and he has been wonderful trying to figure out which is the one that is creating the most pain. Love the fact that he didn't jump the gun and say I needed surgery! Great doctor with a great bedside manner!
Been a patient of this wonderful doctor for over 19 years. He did a total double knee replacement on me. Repaired my left torn rotator cup. And going to start right shoulder replacement after physical therapy.. I am ex military and retired law enforcement. This doctor will put you back together and you will not miss a beat. I have happily returned to work.
I highly recommend Dr. Ogers. I was not looking forward to this surgery. As a nurse, I thoroughly researched. So happy I chose Dr. Ogers!! He is the best!
Excellent surgical results from broken femur. Surgery quickly performed and rehab resulted in quick recovery. Full confidence in his judgement And professional expertise. Highly recommended!

Rude and arrogant, after I returned to discuss the plans for surgery on a rotator cuff tear, he literally entered the exam room and said " what's your problem? I already spent 30 minutes discussing this with u(not quite). Do you want to live like an 80 year old?(I'm 56).What I did want was to get my other shoulder an mri.., he refused and to give physical therapy a try. He said he'd only let me try it for a month and it'd probably make it worse.I found another dr, in another practice, got an mri ( which showed the left side was torn just as bad), and did pt for four months. I now have almost 100 mobility , and know what to do if it were to start to get bad again ( caused from an accident). He might be a good surgeon but I left the office in tears and going elsewhere was the absolute best choice I could have made ! What an awful experience during a physically difficult time!
very intelligent and excellent surgeon. Highly recommend !

He is a caring, brilliant man. A gentle giant who belies his physique!
I had 8, Yes EIGHT surgical procedures performed by Dr.Odgers, three on a completely torn left rotator cuff. The first surgery was an open surgery repair of the rotator cuff and the torn bicep that was also damaged. There were two subsequent surgeries to deal with an infection at the surgical site. The following year he operated 5 times over a period of 4 months to deal with chronic osteomyelitis in my right femur, a condition that had developed at the site of a full break of my right femur that had occured 35 years prior! Here's the incident that I feel separates him from every other Dr. I've ever known. After discharge from Paoli Memorial, I realized I had no way to get the prescriptions filled that I given at discharge. I could not drive and my local relatives were on vacation out of country. I contacted Dr.Odgers office and made them aware of the situation. Dr Odgers personally went to the pharmacy and delivered the medicines to my apartment! Way beyond anything any other Surgeon would ever do! He's #1 in my opinion!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
