Sevasti Margetas's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Margotis for several years. During that time, she has removed & burned off several spots that would have tuned into something serous down the road. Not only is she an excellent dermatologist, but has a calming & caring bedside manor. I highly recommend Dr. Margotis.

I waited for forty five minutes in an examining room. When Dr. Margetes finally came in I made it clear that there is no excuse for the long wait. I guess that her feelings were hurt since a physician's assistant saw me on a follow up visit.

The front desk attendant should notify patients (upon entering) when Dr. Margetas is running 45 minutes behind; it seems she is often over-booked and rushed in her appointments. Patients are consistently left sitting in the waiting room not knowing what's going on. Dr. Margetas doesn't have the best bedside manner so don't expect warm fuzzies, humor, or a real doctor/patient connection. I continue to see her because she really tries to not inflict too much pain during a procedure. I wish the office would give the doctor's a few more minutes in their appointment schedules.

Uninterested, poor to absent bedside manner.

She spent all of a few minutes with me. Barely examined me, didn’t answer my questions, and didn’t offer clear instructions for treatment. I had to pry answers out of her. I had to verify her treatment with a pharmacist because she was not helpful.

I wasn’t impressed. Her bedside manner was atrocious. She acted as if we were wasting her time and had something better to do. She was smug. I was possibly interested in following up with some cosmetic procedures but did not pursue it. She was with us for maybe 10 minutes total (2 appointments). I am interested in how they will bill my insurance company.

Terrible patient interaction skills. She never acknowledged us in the room or my daughter. Sorry you could be a board certified genius but if you lack patient skills, you suck as a doctor. Never did a through exam, asked about family history or read the nurses notes. We waited 2 months for this specialist appt and we really didn't learn anything new. I think her insurance reimbursement should be reflective of her rating. Not a good experience.

I went to see her today she spent maybe 2 minutes with me prior to wanting to prescribe a medication. She seemed very rushed and uninterested in anything I wanted to ask her about. Before she ran out of the exam room she asked " Do you have any questions - no - good" before I could even think. I work with a group of doctors that FREQUENTLY refer to this office. Needless to say we won't be recommending Dr. Margetas any time soon! Horrible experience and a waste of my time.

I made an appointment for a very large cyst in my back. Dr. Margetas looked at my back for 5 seconds, said she could not help me, and recommended that I see a general surgeon. My cyst continues to get larger and more painful. I would never recommend her to anyone.
