I've had many wonderful experiences with the Doctor - even referred family members. It's hard in this day and age to have a Doctor actually listen and care. And She does that!!!

Dr.Bhargava took the time ( new patient) to review my health history and what treatments I have received in the past and we decided together what would be next— continue with current treatments and/or make adjustments. She is kind and has a positive outlook.

So me and this MD have had it out numerous times and this last time was the final straw. Extremely condescending. I’m a nurse and type 1 diabetic for 36 years. Once my primary retired the office told me I was going to see her. I am? No really I’m not. Considering we had already had it out on a telemedicine visit while I had Covid with her telling me I needed to go on statin. That was not the time nor the place to discuss that topic. Yesterday when my retina specialist recommended that my 130/80 blood pressure needed to be lowered to avoid eye injections due to Macular Edema he e-mailed her, he called her. I was told on the phone by a medical assistant I did not meet criteria for blood pressure medications and I wasn’t getting them and this brilliant MD would do a telemedicine visit but I was not allowed to discuss anything with my blood pressure. Really? I live here in America and last I checked I was an adult and allowed to talk about whatever I like. Shall we pull up the medical studies about how Angiotensin II Receptor Blockers are good for diabetic, improve kidney function. I mean I know I’m a lowly registered nurse and only been taking my blood pressure 6 times a day to trend it and was willing to do a telemedicine to discuss treatment options since I was just there at the end of November and physically watched a women in the doorway who was coughing, had a headache and a fever the day before sitting in the lobby way that is a size of a phone booth with no mask on and no one cleaning the chair she was sitting in. Myself having two underlying health conditions that make me more at risk for dying from Covid. Also had the creatinine level in November that would be needed to start that medication. Again another big word for someone who isn’t a doctor. Still like how I was told I wasn’t getting that Cozaar. Notice how I didn’t go in there and bottle of Cozaar is sitting right next to me. My recommendation is stop telling people what they are going to do and speaking to any potential patients like they are stupid. Most hospitals pay doctors on how many cases they have. Considering every time I call this one has same day appointments I would assume that’s why they are always telling me that I am going in to see this lady.
