This was the most horrible doctor visit that I ever had in my life. I will never return. His subservient attitude was uncanny and pessimistic views were unbelievable. He his stuck in old ways and scientific views, when in fact many have live along time by changing there diets. If you are looking for natural ways for healing, he is sure not the one to see.

I was recommended to Dr. Berkowitz by my amazing chiropractor, Nancy Gallagher after I herniated for the third time and expressed my concern of little confidence in my existing PCP. On my first visit with Dr. Berkowitz I was absolutely blown away by how he interacted with me, by his easy way but thorough examination and explanation of the hows/whats/whys he planned to take regarding my herniation aftercare. His approach has always been amazing and without reservation, Dr. Berkowitz has provided me the best clinical care I have ever received from a primary care physician. I recommend him and his office to everyone I know! He’s absolutely the best! Thank you always Dr. B!

Dr Berkowitz is a wonderful caring doctor who takes the time needed to help and answer any questions. If you need a great doctor I would definitely recommend him😊👍

I WAS A PATIENT OF DR. B TILL HE LEFT South Side Medical. I never mind going to his visits cuz it was always a pretty on schedule Appointment with very convenient office hours. I always left the office in a much better mood weather I was physically sick or just having a rough day. This doctor would honestly sit with me and listen to me with respect and compassion. I would even talk to him about my family. He was there when I was going through a rough time with my mother passing away. He listened and talked to me as if he personally knew her. His a very good doctor and would go the extra mile to try and make your life that much easier to deal with. He gives you trust and if YOU decide to ruin that because you lie to your own self than the jokes on you. Do not ever try and blame him for trying to help you on what you said was making your life so difficult to live with (pain wise). You get a good Doctor who tries to help you and you complaint - you get a doctor who off the back labels you and you complaint as well. Witch one is it? May -be the real problem is you and no -one else so stop trying to find excuses! His great and I will recommend him 100%. Who ever haves him as their Doctor I will like to say that you are extremely lucky and Blessed. I sure miss him...

My wife and I have been going to Drs Berkowitz and Nelson at Family Physicians Medical Group for many years. Why?Our appointments are always on time - rarely if ever do we need to wait past our appointed time.If we need to reach one of them - 24x7 - a call to their number will get a return call from them within 10 minute or less. When I found myself trying to pick up a prescription late on a Friday evening and the pharmacist claimed they didn't have the prescription, I called the office and within 10 minutes Dr. Berkowitz called the pharmacist, who then magically "found" the prescription.Drs Berkowitz and Nelson are some of the vanishing breed of General Practitioners who do a thorough analysis before prescribing, and truly take an interest in your well-being.One note - they do not take insurance, including Medicare, so it is up to you to submit claims to your insurance company. For us, that is a minor issue - have doctors you can trust and call 24x7 is far more important.

Dr B is the greatest Dr a patient can hope for, he was my Dr for twenty years until I moved to Fl and all I can say is going from an extraordinary Dr who truly cares to a bunch of Drs that don't have a moment to spend with you, you really appreciate what you had. He is intelligent, compassionate, and always makes time for you. To any individual blaming him got their own addiction, that is the words of a coward who needs the easy way out for an addiction you have not something your Dr treated you for. I will always be grateful for all this Dr has done for me. S.H.

Having been over prescribed OxyContin for years I thank Dr. B for the hellish withdrawal I am still experiencing.

I suppose I'm just echoing what’s already been said a dozen times here and probably hundreds of times throughout the Lehigh Valley. Dr Berkowitz is a great family doctor and a better human being. Hoping he’s just taking a sabbatical and will be back in practice locally very soon.

I,ve had him as my Family Doctor for over 12 years will miss him was good Doctor and understanding to his patients.

He is a very good Dr . He always shows concern and goes out his way to help his patients it's ashame that I don't know where he is now and I have to find another Dr . God bless you.
