Please stay away from this doctor. If there were 0 stars I would have chosen that score. He has cost the life of at least 2 patients. His infertility practices are. Unproven and a waste of money. He has an inconsiderate and selfish personality and thinks only of money money money. It is so bad that his business has failed and he had to sell out to a much better conglomerate. Stay away.

Scam artists. He does not even operate on his patients. I think he got sued or lost his license.

Dr. Barmat told me pain is in the mind and compared my pain from adenomyosis to pain in his big toe. After years of trauma from my disease, all I could do was cry after hearing that. Find a doctor that listens to you and cares about your wellbeing.

Dr.Barmat was great I was very nervous and confused about what PCOS actually means he explained everything perfectly and didn’t leave tell all my questions were answered. He even gave a game plan for me and my boyfriend.

I met with Dr. Barmat for an IVF consultation and found him to be condescending and bothered by being asked questions. After sitting with him for an hour, I was then told by the nurse during check out that he recommended a procedure (endometrial scratching) that was NEVER discussed with me in that hour conversation. I was then told that it is "standard protocol" and that I could not move on in the process without having it done. The lack of communication, attention to detail, and care made me switch doctors and I was very happy with my switch. The new practice did NOT make me do endometrial scratching, and I am 6 months pregnant after one IVF cycle. The care I received at Abington Reproductive as whole went downhill in the 7 months I was there. You do not have one doctor assigned to your file, anyone could be responsible for calling you, and sometimes no one did (even with pregnancy test results). During such a difficult time in your life, all of us deserve more with our care than Abington provides.

Dr. Barmat gave us realistic expectations and confidence at the same time. He explains everything in a way that addressed all our concerns and made us comfortable with a very difficult situation.

Dr Barmat and all of the staff have been so WONDERFUL. We felt so supported and really had so much communication on our situation and what our options were. We are so excited to be expecting in 6 months and really would recommend Abington Reproductive Medine to anyone who needs answers and help! Thanks!

Dr. Barmat performed a hysteroscopy and tissue removal under anesthesia for me. He had an excellent bedside manner and helped to calm my nerves. There was an issue with giving me the anesthesia via IV and he helped to find another solution. He even called the next morning to be sure I was doing alright. I would definitely recommend Dr. Barmat.

Dr. Barmat is an incredible doctor. Between my line of work as well as my personal experience, I have never met a healthcare provider who not only is as talented and compassionate as he, but who sets the bar for bedside manner. Dr. Barmat always welcomed and took the time to answer each and every question posed. From the beginning, I never felt like a number or another procedure. I always felt he was very much so interested in not only my healthcare, but overall well being and approached our medical situation from that standpoint. While Dr. Barmat was at the helm of aiding us in achieving our goal, whether or not this was the case, my comments would be the same. Every consumer of healthcare services should be fortunate enough to receive the level of care we experienced during the year we spent with Abington Reproductive Medicine and under Dr. Barmat's care. I would highly recommend him in a heart beat to anyone seeking the services of a reproductive endocronologist.

Dr. Barmat is an outstanding service provider. In addition to performing my myomectomy, he also worked tirelessly with my husband and I to help us achieve our family planning goals. He as an unbelievable bedside manner steeped in compassion and an ever so present passion for his line of work. He welcomes questions and spends all the time needed to answer those questions to satisfaction. I would highly recommend Dr. Barmat to anyone seeking such services.
