Dr. Shaikh takes time to truly listen to you. She's thorough in examination, discusses and explains a course of treatment. She's a caring and knowledgeable physician.

So, she refused to see my daughter when we were 8 minutes late due to traffic. These doctors are so full of themselves that they have no concern or regard for others. Multiple times I waited more than ten minutes to be called in and never said I am leaving or won’t pay because she was late. This is beyond ridiculous. Just points to the fact that her appointments are so crammed together because of wanting to see as many patients as possible in a short time. It’s all just a business to them. No concern for patients. Well, guess what, it cannot be one sided and I will not be putting up with this crap- you make me wait and on your end refuse to accommodate if I am late one time. I will be changing providers soon.

Yet another dr that won’t give me anything for insomnia. She’s nice and looks out for your health but she’s another dr too scared to prescribe anything potentially addictive. If she looked at my file she would know I don’t have any problems with abusing prescriptions. So I’m back to otc sleep medicine. That works for now. I just avoid going if I don’t absolutely have to. Most of my insomnia is from anxiety and I can’t get anything for that either. Nothing to help the anxiety not sleep.

She's a Excellent doctor, very nice with me and she shows CONCERN for my health...I just learned that she's no longer @ Hamilton Health in Harrisburg, Pa. I'm hoping she's still taking patients bcuz I'd like to continue having her as my PCP!!!
