Yes he did a thorough exam. But, he really didn't care about the symptoms I was experiencing. He wrote me off quickly at the end of the appointment and basically said I was fine. My heart rate doing "anything" jumped to 150-160 BPM. I was told I needed to exercise more. I'm a nurse who hustles every day all day in a nursing home atmosphere. I went from normal daily life to short of breath and tachycardic upon walking. Thankfully I received a second opinion from a physician in Erie. I had more testing which led to TWO diagnoses. I am now on heart medication but I haven't felt this good in about a year!

This is an amazingingly compassionate, caring doctor! I got to see him by chance...I was admitted to the hospital after a fall, was on a cardiac monitor and he happened to be at the monitor desk, looked at my tracings and saw some unusual (and serious) issues. He wasn't even assigned to my case, nor was he asked as a referral to see me. He simply saw a problem and made sure it was looked into. He spoke with my admitting doctor, felt a stress test was necessary as was a possible pacemaker. Since Christmas was 4 days away, he worked his hardest o get everything done for a correct diagnosis, which indeed did require placement of a pacemaker to keep my heart rhythm above 43. He cleared his schedule and nade sure I was taken care of. I haven't ever been treated as I was by a doctor such as Dr Estrada. He LISTENED to me, held my hand, explained everything completely and took excellent care of me. This area is so lucky to have him here...and I am forever grateful for his care.
