I went in to establish care with Dr Williams. She was professional, caring, competent. She caught up on my medical history quickly, and immediately prepare a treatment plan/next steps, including highlighting some tests I'd need that would take several months, so that I could schedule them early. I feel confident in her care.

Surprised at negative reviews but pretty old ones from many years ago Saw her today with my husband who was having chest pains. I find her very accommodating, listens well and communicates. Thinking of changing from my primary to her as I was impressed. Addressed our concerns n made recommendations

My last visit with Dr. Williams was terrible. I had some concerns I wanted to discuss with her and she was quick to dismiss anything I had to say. I was there for an annual exam and she barely took time to do the physical exam. When she checked and squeezed my lower left leg I told her that leg hurts sometimes and goes numb at times. I received no reply at all from her. It was like she couldn’t wait to get out of the room. She has no bedside manner or compassion for her patients. If you are looking for a patient, caring doctor I suggest you find a different doctor!!! Dr. Williams is not the one for you!!!

She listens, is thorough, and I trust her judgment.

Dr.Williams was my PCP for a very long time. But I realized how poor she performs only when my health started to deteriorate.Note after the below experience I have since moved to another PCP and under continued medication for hypothyroidism. I sent this very exact review to PAMF when I switched doctors, not sure if they ever took any action.About two years ago (3/2018), I contacted Dr.Williams with severe lethargy and hair loss. My suspicion was thyroid malfunction since I had to take thyroid medication during both my pregnancies. She ordered TSH, T3/T4 blood tests. My test showed TSH at 8.46 and T3/T4 normal. I had assumed that she would put me on medication right away, but she said that everything was A-Okay on thyroid front since T3/T4 was normal. She did not put me on any other medication nor did she follow up with me on both these conditions to diagnose them further. I was sent home with a suggestion that I see a skin specialist for my hair loss.In Oct 2018, I noticed abnormal spotting before my periods, something that has never happened before. I contacted Dr.Williams office again. She did not correlate this new symptom with my prev symptoms. She did an examination and again sent me home without a diagnosis or medication. I did blood work for TSH test in October and this time the value was 4.99. She again said my reading looks great and nothing to worry on thyroid front.In a few months, my symptoms aggravated, i had heavy hair loss along with depression/irritability, feeling cold all the time, abnormal spotting before mensuration etc.,In march this year, I also started developing very dry skin and scalp. While googling for possible causes, i happened on a link which listed symptoms of hypothyroidism. It listed all the symptoms I have been experiencing. Meanwhile the spotting came back and lasted more than 2 weeks. I consulted with a physician friend and she too was in consensus with the info I found online and believed I should at least put on a low dose of levothyroxine. I immediately composed an email to Dr.Williams listing all the symptoms I have been facing and indicating my strong suspicion of hypothyroidism and that I would like to retest TSH. I also took an appointment to see her. She never responded to my email.In the appointment, she once again claimed that since my T3/T4 was normal, I do not have hypothyroidism. I tried to question her with the info i had gleaned from the internet and my friend. I requested to be put on a low dose of levothyroxine and she point blank refused saying that it would be detrimental to my health. After some more pressing from my side, she finally agreed to send me to an endocrinologist. But she insisted that my symptoms should be treated individually, apply rogaine for hair loss, take depression medication for depression. I guess it is fine to start taking depression medication without any real diagnosis but i should certainly not start on levothyroxine even though my tsh has been continuously elevated.We again did blood work on Thur 3/21/2019. The results for all but one tests were available to me on Fri 3/22. Strangely TSH reading alone was missing. I waited a bit and finally sent a msg to Dr.William insisting that she release the TSH result. The reading was 8.58, around the same value I had exactly one year ago. In this result, she finally notes that may be it would be a good idea for me to see the endocrinologist and start a low dosage of levothyroxine. Wow, really? The endocrinologist agreed with my symptoms and immediately started me on levothyroxine. (It would turn out that I eventually had to move to a higher dosage to address my condition fully)I wonder what would have happened if I had not confronted Dr.Williams on my TSH reading this time? She would have again sent me home without any real diagnosis and any medication.I really have to say the diagnosis only happened because I did my own research on the symptoms. I had to go through a whole slew of symptoms, anxiety and physical/psychological stress for one whole year without any diagnosis or medication, total waste of time and money. I see zero stars is not an option.

I love Dr Williams and have been seeing her for years. She is kind and thorough. I trust her opinion.

I have seen Dr. Williams for a while and little things pick at me about her. She rushes through an exam, always pushes me off on other doctors that I have instead of treating me herself, several times without explanation. The last time I was following up after being seen in the ER with chest pain, she didn't even look about what that doctor said what was wrong with me. She said "all your test came back fine, so that is good, I think its coming from your neck." Then she wanted me to see another doctor without any explanation, reason, nothing. I was trying to explain how bad the pain was and she just sent out muscle relaxers. Then wanted to end our appointment. She rushes too much, doesn't explain a lot, acts like her patients are annoying her and wants them to go somewhere else for treatment, rather than to her. I wouldn't recommend her.

I came in with a 102.5 temp I had this for two days. I Was dehydrated and needing an IV of saline to hydrate my body to help fight whatever flu I had. She refused and told me to go to the hospital. I told her that was out of the question considering the cost and the fact that she could easily treat me. She still refused. Here I am the next day hydrating myself and starting to feel better. There was ZERO need to go to the ER and waste time and money.

Dr. Williams asks me questions about how I am doing and listens to my answers. She wants to know if I have any questions or concerns and listens to what I have to say as well. She works with me to find the best plan of care for me.

Highly recommend. Takes time with me, listens carefully. Gives all options. Answers emails quickly. Pleasant and caring.
