I had my first appointment with Dr Daniel Yarmel yesterday. I have been experiencing a lot of foot pain after a long days work. He showed me the X-rays, explained the findings and recommended his plan. Being someone who dreads seeing doctors because of my weight I was worried I would be harped on about it but he treated me with respect and compassion.

Dr Yarmel took the time to help me today after another Dr at another office (not affiliated with UPMC) told me he didn’t know what he could do for me. We’re in the beginning stages of trying to figure it out but I’m confident that he will!

Great physician, experienced and very knowledgeable regarding diabetic foot issues including but not limited to Charcot Foot Syndrome. I would recommend Dr. Yarmel to anyone in need of Podiatric care.

The last 3 times I saw him, he was very mean to me. He told me that I needed to lose weight. He also accused me of trying to get hard drugs through his office. I will never return to this practice!

Very happy with Dr. Yarmel and staff at my recent appointment. Took the time to explain my foot and ankle issue and had a concise treatment plan.

It's either good or poor with this doc and unfortunately for me it was poor. He was rude, arrogant and fired questions at me and barely gave me time to answer. Discounted what I said. If you can't allow time to develop a proper medical history for a new patient, don't try and cram my 65 years of life into your 5 minute allotment! Failed to give me a proper diabetic foot exam which was main reason I went. Did survey from practice but obviously that was a waste of time as no follow up occurred. I will be filing a complaint with my health insurance as much to my dismay, he still gets paid for not doing his job!
