Jack Kazanjian's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kazanjian performed the wrong hip surgery on our father who was 93 years old. After the mistake of placing a rod in his hip, we had to make a choice: He can lie on his back for a year and not stand or sit with this hip(which would cause pneumonia and die) or do another surgery to replace the hip with a ball joint/ but he must pull the rod out first. How does this happen???? Our father chose to put the right hip in which of course caused so many other problems with anesthesia, pneumonia, Nasogastric intubation and over a month in the hospital. He could no longer return home because the surgeries caused him to be dependent on people to help with his ADLs and standing. After 5 months my father passed away-Should not be doing surgeries if he cant identify where the brake is to begin with. BEWARE

Would not read my MRI which revealed total tear of shoulder labrum. I am in extreme pain but he would not discuss surgery. Basically Iwaited 2 weeks to get stretching excersizes that I know are a waste of time.I immediatelty made another appointment elsewhere.Wasted 2 painful weeks waiting for this appointment. Go elsewhere!

Dr. Jack is professional, personable, and efficient while making you feel heard. He educates not only about the orthopedic issue but also current health trends giving the visit a holistic approach. Dr. Jack tends to answer questions before they're asked. He promotes less invasive treatments to solve a problem instead of resorting to surgery, unless warranted. One leaves the office feeling confident that the correct next step is being taken in providing care.

Great experience. I have seen Dr Kazanjian for several issues from a long career in professional sports (Rugby League in the UK) and he has been first class every time. Highly recommended surgeon, great guy all round.

I scheduled an appointment w/ Dr. Kazanjian a couple of weeks ago for a second opinion re: shoulder instability and a near constant ache which has severely impacted my ability to perform day to day functions -- his bed side manner was nonexistent and he had this arrogance about him. I took the time to prepare and bring a medical summary from the original doctor and he refused to look at it. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. Only good thing about this visit is that I feel better about dealing w/ my original ortho team after my experience w/ this doctor. He was the first person I dealt w/ from Premier Ortho and after my visit w/ him, unfortunately, I would never recommend this establishment to any one of my colleagues/friends/family.

Dr. Kazanjian acted very professional towards me as well as making me feel comfortable and confident in my decision to go to him. I will highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of his service. thank you so much for helping me!

Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Excellent bedside manner and very personable. Dr. Kazanjian performed 2 separate shoulder surgeries on me 10 years apart, both were successful. I am very confident in his abilities. I would absolutely recommend him 😀
