John N Negrey Jr's Online Review Report Card

The Doctors here are wonderful! The Staff is awful. The staff is rude, condescending & argumentative. It took me 20 minutes on the phone to make an appointment because they had to make sure my insurance was in fact "good" even when I volunteered to pay out of pocket no matter what our coverage was. Every time I have called since I have been placed on hold for no less than 3 minutes. I have been going to Dr. Negrey since I was 15. I'm now 40+. I remember learning how to put my contacts in with a super kind assistant that sat there for almost an hour as I was trying to learn it! It's just a shame. Dr. Negrey Sr. I'm sure would be disappointed.

Great doctors, but the office staff is trouble. I was scheduled for a visit but when I arrived found they had closed. I called the office, got an answering service, and they were of no help at all. When I talked to an aged office person, her response was 'That is impossible. We don't give out appointments when the office is closed. ' I told her I had a card with that time on it. Her answer was 'that's impossible.' I asked her to explain how I got a card with the wrong time on it. She said 'I don't know, but no one in our office could have given you that.' Why? 'Our office doesn't make mistakes.' Really? I asked her if she was implying I wrote the card. 'No, I'm not, but I'm simply saying that it could not have come from this office. I've worked here many years and we have never once made a mistake like that.' I didn't know such perfection was possible.........obviously from her tone and attitude she felt this whole thing was my fault and I was insulting her by bringing this up. Once you get past the idiots, you'll find really good professionals doctors, though. Old Dr N is retired now, but his son is very capable.

I have been going to see Dr. Negrey for years. I am happy with the professionalism and service of the staff. They always see me right away and scheduling appointments are easy.

The office fit me in last minute, the Dr saw me right away. Dr. John Negrey took great care of me and eased my mind about the issues I was having with (a blood red eye). I highly recommend this Dr and his practice to all of my family and friends!

I feel totally ripped off by this Doctor! He referred me to his friend, stating this doctor specialises in my eye disease.Supposedly, this friend wanted to just check my eyes.He assured me the visit would be free of charge. Had to be in his office at 6 AM. He took many pictures, which he would use for teaching and at the end of the visit, I was charged. When I told this to Dr. John, he totally ignored me.found another doctor, but was charged $70 to transfer my records. All about the money

He was very thorough and efficient. Dr. John communicated with me with very exactly and personably.
