Our son had a rare growth on his radial artery. Dr. Payatakes surgically removed the cyst which grew to 9 cm in length, not compromising the artery wall. He spent 3 1/2 hours slowly removing the growth. He was friendly and took the time to understand our son and his condition. He was cautious in decision making to assure the best care for our son.

I've had 3 surgeries done by Dr. Payakes. He takes the extra time if needed to diagnose & explain whats wrong, ur pain, what to do for it & what his plan is to fix the problem!!! He takes time to answer questions u have. It took me 6 mths to find an Orthopedic that was cover by my Ins. I'm so thankful for THE BONE & JOINT INSTITUTE! I don't really drive anymore & I live almost 2 hrs away. I do have problems getting there sometimes but I'd rather have a good Dr. then a close Dr.
