We saw Dr.Dhawan in the fall of 2021 after my son tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament and Meniscus. Dr.Dhawan performed the surgery in December and now one year later my son played this past season and has committed to playing in college next year. I can't say enough about Dr.Dhawan, his care, his skills, the time he spent with us, his team. We have sent several of my son's teammates and family friends to him as well, and all have had a great experience.

If you are a patient suffering from hip impingement and hip labral tear, in my experience, Dr. Dhawan is not qualified to perform this procedure. I had pain throughout my recovery, and 13 months post-op I had a surgical revision by an experienced hip preservationist who discovered Dr. Dhawan had damaged my cartilage and hip capsule and did not correct my impingement. Dr. Dhawan uses "old school" techniques such as debridement and post distraction which are being phased out and no longer considered appropriate methods of treatment. If you have FAI/CAM and/or torn labrum, I recommend finding a surgeon who is a specialist in hip arthroscopy and performs this specific surgery multiple times a week.

Dr. Dhawan is awesome. Very very caring and a great listener. Great beside manner, does not make you feel stupid. My shoulder and bicep were operated on June 8th. Everything is coming along just as I hoped it would. I felt better and better every day! Thank you Dr Aman Dhawan!

as soon as I walked in dr, dhawan had this warm aura about him I felt very at ease and comfortable. he was easy to talk to and he really cared about me and listened to what I had to say about my severe pain. And he didnt just give me tynol and say go home for a couple months and flap my arms up and down to exercise and he didnt just push me out the door like all the other doctors do just after seeing them for 5 minutes or less! He actually spent a lot of time with me explaining everything to me that I needed to know not like the other doctors telling me you don't need to know anything now!! I have been seeing Dr.Dhawan for over 2 years. He treated my left knee for a complex cartilage problem which I was referred from Lancaster for. He my performed surgery and I have been able to resume an active lifestyle and sports. I have a similar problem now on my right knee for which he is treating me. Dr.Dhawan's bedside manner and compassion combined with his knowledge, skill and time spent with me explaining my condition and treatment are second to none.

Dr. Dhawan lacks basic skills and competence in his area of specialty. He did not perform an examination of my knee--in fact he did not unwrap or touch my knee at all. He simply told me to come back in 3 months. This caused much pain, suffering, and loss. In my experience he exhibited a lack of professionalism, incompetence, and total disregard for a patient. As a healthcare professional I simply cannot excuse his behavior nor would ever refer to him.
