We started with him when our daughter was about 9. He didn’t scare us, but communicated the risks and realities. He was really good with encouragement. Our daughter was lean and athletic and truly embraced wearing the back brace and continued her activities. It worked for her and she ended up not needing the surgery. Proud of her and very glad we went to him.

Dr.Armstrong has been treating our almost three year old little boy for about a year and a half now for scoliosis. When we were first referred to Dr.Armstrong I was terrified due to other doctors scaring me saying my son could have a tumor, it could be cancer, ect. Dr.Armstrong diagnosed his scoliosis and instead of making me scared of what my only one year old was about to face he put my mind at ease. He explained everything in detail and has always had Hayden's best interest in our whole treatment plan. After my son was wearing a cast for about 6 months I broke down in Dr.Armstrong's office because I felt like we were not getting any results. He assured me that he felt like we need to keep going with the cast but did not pressure me into doing anything I didn't want to do. Instead he gave my son a 2 week break without the cast and then went back to treatment. Our son started with a 55 degree curvature of his spine and today he is down to a 14 degree curvature! I am so amazed at the results and so grateful to Dr.Armstrong for everything he has done for our son and will continue to do for him. The fact that everytime he sees Hayden he thanks me for allowing him to treat my little boy just shows how compassionate he is for his patients! Seriously the best doctor I have ever met!

Dr Armstrong has held a special place in my heart back when I first met him. He has a huge heart for his patients and I’m extremely fortunate to have him as my back doctor! I love him so much and highly recommend him!!

Dr. Armstrong did an amazing job with our sons surgery two years ago and two weeks ago did surgery on our daughter. A very kind, gentle, and caring Dr. Takes the time to explain everything and gives opportunity to ask any questions you may have. I would highly recommend Dr Armstrong. As a pediatric patient he always treated me as a whole & not just my scoliosis. He was always aware of the affects my scoliosis and his treatment plan had on my pulmonary disease. He liked to have a Plan A & B & C. He talked with me even though I was a kid, so I was included & understood. He taught me the importance of having communication in your medical team by always keeping my other MDs updated, especially my primary. With a less attentive MD I might not have survived childhood.
