An obstacle to recovery, look elswhere. Dr Jens is a poor doctor and doesn’t listen fully to patient concerns. Period. Ex: After abnormal outside labs and detailed patient symptoms, he orders dangerous procedure (spinal tap) but then doesn’t test the fluid for specific requested pathogen of Upenn and outside drs. Screw up followed by denial, excuses, etc, and never asking a single question regarding my symptoms...all while making illogical and flawed medical assumptions not fully aligning with science. Won’t listen or show much interest in patient care…Seemingly an inexperienced and out of touch skill set lacking critical thinking skills and true expertise. Was assigned him (didnt pick myself) by Penn State for complex neurological symptoms…dx small fiber neuropathy, headache disorder, muscular fasiculations, cervical abnormalities, etc…feel worse overall. One extra star for staff. Transitioning to NIH/UPenn. 3+ years in pain, married, college educated, healthy lifestyle.
