One week after bringing our son for his well check and I'm still sick as heck. Everyone in my family got it but according to them the lady at reception didn't cough all over everything, when she most certainly did. She coughed gave us our masks and eww. That's why we didn't want to wear them. Why would you cough all over them and then give them to us 😳🤒🤮🤢🐛 She did, she definitely wasn't well and coughed on our masks and then on my son's paperwork. When I called of course they deny and that's fine but we know where we got sick from. We went there well and left almost immediately my husband was already feeling not good. The doc didn't wash her hands trust me I notice and I'm sorry hand sanitizer isn't the same as hand washing. My son's exam table was also dirty. I loved this doc for my kids but how they acted isn't OK. It makes me really sad.
Always short providers appointments suddenly get canceled when I didn’t cancel them was super excited to switch to them being apart of the Upmc system but I completely regret it the dr was nice but there scheduling and how every they do all the information for clients is always all messed up and they never have the staff to cover anything especially when you call for an appointment they say they are short staffed
They do not accept sick children, or infants! They want your child to be seen at an Urgent Care or Hospital. UPMC Altoona Hospital you have to wait 8 hours in an ER to either be refused, or have no room available to provide care. They will not allow your child back in the office, if seen by another pediatrician- and / OR records are transferred to another doctor to be seen for the sick visit. The manager of the office said that’s rules in Altoona / Hollidaysburg. Christina- the manager of the office states, it’s doctor shopping”. As a parent of an infant you want your child to get seen by a doctor when sick, not leave numerous calls with a nurse in triage to not be called back! They are a mess, and need to reevaluate their policies and sick procedures!!
Knowledgeable providers. Friendly front staff.
They are very quick with responding and very nice doctors and nurses. I was very happy with how fast they can get you in when you need to the children to be seen quickly. They are also very good with communication.
We greatly appreciate the staff and doctors at ccp. We have always gotten an appointment when needed and we have never waited more than 20 minutes to see a doctor.
It takes 45 minutes between the nurse who checks our information walks out of the patient room and the doctor walks in every single time I come. It's always a different doctor, not one is familiar with my son's cases when I get there. There administration must be a joke in there.
CCP staff are all friendly, helpful, and kind. Every single Dr is capable and they all have good bedside manner. Sick appointments are available same-day, often within a few hours.
I really like these docotors. Thier facility is new, they have a nice playbarea for thenkids thatvare waiting, they are modern, but they also value breastfeeding and more conservative medical care. I am glad that we decided to bring our child here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
