Richard Barnes's Online Review Report Card

Ive made 2 appointments here both times over and hour late. Dont waste your time🤡 they scheduled me for a 9:30 appointment which I showed up early for. At 10:30 I was still in the waiting room. Its not very professional to keep patients waiting for over an hour. If cleaning was an issue then why not make my appointment for 10:30 or later. Thanks for wasting my time and money.

My mother is a PT of Dr. Barnes. I have some concerns with her mental stability of late and driving. She has had a few accidents and was all over the road last week. She is 76 years old with a family history of dementia. I called a week prior to her appointment to ask if the doctor could ask her some questions related to this as I "didn't want to be the bad guy" and hurt the relationship between my mother and I even thought i have directly expressed concerns to her. The doctor's office indicated to call the day of her appointment and they will advise the doctor. So I did as they asked and secretary took my message. She then called back and indicated because my mother was 20 minutes late "red flag" Dr. Barnes "did not have the time". I was not pleased and asked the doctor to call me direct. He did 20 minutes later. I inquired as to why he did not speak with her and again he reiterated that she was 20 minutes late and he has patients behind her and didn't have time to make a diagnosis. He wanted her to come in again!!! I was furious and said "You couldn't take 5 minutes to ask her some questions like..... hey did you have an issues getting here, any family concerns with driving or your vision etc. " He didn't even address the issue. So he is going to make a 76 year old, with expressed driving concerns from family, drive in AGAIN???? I told him what if she gets in an accident or hurts someone else. No response. This is unacceptable. Apparently PT care is not his top priority, but how many he can squeeze in a day and what about the ethics surrounding this??? I had to give 1 star to post or he would of received none! The Hippocratic Oath is an oath historically taken by physicians. It is one of the most widely known of Greek medical texts. In its original form, it requires a new physician to swear, by a number of healing gods, to uphold specific ethical standards.

The amount of time spent in waiting room was a very pleasant surprise. The doctor and staff were wonderful. Been with Dr. Barnes over 20 years.

Dr barnes office staff has been nothing but kind & helpful 2 me. I have a cpl of medical conditions & i needed 2 change pcps & their office was the only 1 that would even c me & listen 2 me about my needs. He is kind of straight forward & serious; but i believe truly helpful. I feel bad cause sum things he wanted me 2 do is taking a long time due 2 ins issues & getting othr appts scheduled but as far as his office goes; they have been able 2 get me appts & take care of things in a timely manner

Waste of time

Dr. Barnes as well as the staff truly listen and give of their time; like I'm the only patient. I can easily talk to all doctor and staff about embarrassing issues without feeling weird for lack of a better word. Thank you

Worst doctor ever. My dad is in extremely bad health and for the past several months has asked for assistance. He has not been able to leave the house for a month. And has been a patient for many many years. If you go to this dr don't expect a prompt phone call back...if you get one at all. Also don't expect any compassion or for this guy to go out of his way to help. I don't believe he can handle anything more than a common cold. This Dr is not recommended if you want actual treatment.
