My sister Alla Vareck, had a head pain at right side base of skull incident some 2 weeks ago, she went to Wayne Memorial hospital in Honesdale Pa. the ER gave her a steroid shot, Flexirol,and pain med and did a CT Scan which showed nothing. Allas, primary Dr. Paula Bennett in Honesdale Pa orderd a MRI which came back indicated possible stroke. She now wants to refer my sister to a Dr Michael Kim DO, Neurologist Scranton Pa,his specialty treating addictions. My sister Alla, is 76 years old, works out ,and is fit and lean and on BP med Lisinopril 40mg and water pill. I would like her to be seen by your group and how can this be arranged. I have had Dr. Bennett as my family physician for years and I adore her. As a matter of fact she delivered my youngest son 26 years ago that’s how much trust I had and have in her. She is genuinely concerned about her patients, she listens to her patients and their concerns, and answers their questions in ways you can understand. She was also my mother’s doctor and when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Dr. Bennett was beyond wonderful with her and very compassionate. She helped me cope with it all as well since my mother lived with me before my sisters and I decided she had to go into a nursing home, I just couldn’t take care of her anymore. Thank God Dr. Bennett was the doctor there also. I highly recommend her. My whole family, husband and kids go to her and all are happy and satisfied with her being their doctor.
