I owe this man my life!

Treating oncologist referred to Dr. Galvan for simple surgical procedure. Dr. Galvan asked if patient "could take the pain" so procedure could be done in office as was more convenient for him. No. Prefer this patient be treated with pain control during surgery. Admitted for outpatient surgery. Patient awoke sobbing, crying heavily and groaning in deep discomfort and pain. Procedure done. Patient traumatized. Never again will we go to this person.

Most caring surgeon and protective of his pts. I've seen him caring for hos pts as a nurse working at the same hospital where he does most of his procedures. 100% I recommend Dr Galvan

Words cannot begin to describe how lucky you'd be to have Dr. Galvan as your doctor. He has worked on my husband from a trauma incident for 6 months. He is hands down the best you could ever get.

I was passing through Amarillo last week when I became ill. Dr. Galvan was the surgeon on call at the NorthWest Hospital ER. My gallbladder needed to be removed. I found him to be thorough, competent, personable, informative, patient, friendly, and caring. It was stressful being in a strange town with this type of emergency but he and his staff gave me such wonderful care. I cannot find enough adjectives to describe what a great surgeon/physician this man is.He followed up w/a call to my home.

Dr. Galvan was the surgeon on call at the Northwest Texas Trauma Center when I was airlifted in following a single vehicle rollover accident on I-40 on 25 Jan 2016. He and I chatted only briefly before surgery, but I was assured by all the hospital staff that he was the best. The next afternoon he fully apprised me of my care, condition, and gave me complete instructions for followup care. Clearly he cared for my welfare and was extremely skilled in the surgery he performed on me.
