I was first seen in a hospital environment and was in need of a re replacement of my right shoulder. Due to an infection the old prosthetic broke and had to be replaced after 8 weeks on IV antibiotics he was able to replace the old shoulder prosthetic. Unfortunately my body rejected the new prosthetic and it had to be replaced this was handled very professionally with compassion and care I am truly grateful for Dr. Updegrove’s professionalism and competence in my medical care

Dr. Updegrove is highly positive, upbeat, and comfortably self-assured. No signs of an elevated ego actually it was well in check. Young and smart utilizing state-of-the-art technologies in his approach to treating both common and difficult orthopedic challenges. Surgery is very low on his list of remedies or cures. Dr. Updegrove is a new bread of dedicated practitioners who truly enjoy the challenges of their work and cares deeply about their patients.

Had major repairs to rotator cuff . While miserable recovery period, definitely worth it . Tremendous improvements. Talented surgeon who listened and answered all questions. He has a good team working with him . Glad he was my surgeon.
