When I moved to the area my long-time rheumatologist (my all-time favorite dr.) recommended Dr Leventhal. I'm very pleased he did! Dr Leventhal is an excellent doctor who knows his field. He has diagnosed my chronic painful conditions quickly but thoughtfully/carefully - and effectively treated me with low cost meds having the least side effects & at a low dosage - all of which are very important to me! He also is friendly & often funny. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Leventhal is an extraordinary doctor who approaches treatment with empathy and a passion for getting to the root of the problem. He has a genuine manner in his interactions with patients and makes your visit human versus clinical. His approach to treating rheumatology patients is one of the most refreshing I've found. Highly recommended.

Thought they were caring and compassionate, BUT. Instead of saying they had no idea what was wrong and they could not help, I was told I had a knee problem. I asked about synvisc and was told they could do it there. No knee pain till infection. When I called I was told-YOU WANTED THE INJECTION.

Dr Leventhal is so knowledgeable he gave me peace of mind and got my chronic pain under control within a few days I was feeling amazing. I went from not being able to move to once again being able to function. It's been three years and I recommend him to everyone family & friends.
