List of MIchael K. Sauter's Reviews
Would not trust him to treat a spider i stepped on.
Rude, seams half "out of it" and un interested. Switched me to a med that made "ms" symptoms 3 times worse, then pretty much refused to see me or address the problem. And was pretty much just rude and unprofessional about it, via relaying threw other doctors.. If you want to get treated like crap while you die, pick him for a Dr.
Dr. Sauter does not refill prescriptions in a timely fashion, nor did he examine me at all before writing a report about my general health. I saw him in Indiana, PA.
I see Dr. Sauter for treatment of chemotherapy-related neuropathy and migraines. He is thorough during examinations and testing. He actually listens to my complaints and addresses them with explanations that are easy to understand. While not specifically treating my back pain, he recommended a simple procedure (SI joint injection)which eliminated the pain.
both the staff and doctor were unnecessarily rude to me and extremely condescending. I was asked what medical conditions I have by the doctor and when I proceeded to list them he cut me off and stated that he "didn't care" about my other issues, leaving me wondering why he asked in the first place. he then claimed that I did not have the neurological disease that I was diagnosed with in 2012 without any explanation, no physical exam or tests done. He then sent my PCP a nasty letter about me stating that I have no diseases and am just "in need of psychiatric help". 0/10, ignorant, did not listen to anything I said and was completely useless in helping me find a decent treatment plan.
Went to this doctor due due to migraines for several years. The pharmacy called me to tell me that Dr. Sauter CLOSED his office. No warning and he was sending his patients to Premier Medical in Monroeville. Was on hold with them for more than 20 minutes. Dr. Sauter is less than a professional doctor who lost hospital privileges and my respect as a patient. His office staff also has poor ratings as they must be too busy looking for other job while collecting unemployment compensation. Premier Medical is much too busy to accept new patients as no one came on the line in those 20 minutes.
Dr. Sauter is a excellent Dr. He is very thorough and follows up on things. He always answers my questions and doesn't rush.I am very glad he is my doctor.
Simply THE BEST out there!
I started seeing him a few years ago. He misdiagnosed me and put me on a heavy medication that created more symptoms and problems than initial complaints. When I would question him about symptoms, diagnosis, and medication, he became very withdrawn and refused to discuss any of it. He just said to keep taking the medication. After several attempts to discuss this with him at appointments, I ended up seeing a specialist in Pittsburgh who said I had been misdiagnosed and should have never been put on the medication. It is a couple years later and I am not on any medication, and other doctor quickly addressed my symptoms and they are gone with some basic life style changes she recommended. Other doctor discharged me from her care because I have been doing so well these last couple of years.
Horrible bedside manner. Rude and disrespectful to patients. Manhandled patient during migraine Botox treatment. Inaccurate and contradicting reports. Does not give proper medication instructions. Highly do not recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
