My husband has used Dr. Fierstein for about 18 years. We have found him to be an exceptional physician who ALWAYS takes the time and effort to help with any cardiac issue. Though my husband has many complex medical problems, Dr. Fierstein always is willing to work with us to help solve them. On a personal basis, we feel fortunate to have such a kind and caring physician on our side.

I just had my first visit with my Dr. Fierstein. He and his staff spent more than 50 minutes with me and I found him to be very down to Earth. He listen to my concerns and ordered up all the needed test to help me control my high blood pressure. I know it may be too soon to make an evaluation after only one visit, but feel certain I made a good choice.

On my 1st visit to see Dr. Fierstein, I felt totally at ease. He took the time to listen to my fears and questions answering each so that I completely understood the next steps. I m so happy I made the decision to switch my cardiac care to him. Would recommend highly.

Dr Fierstein has been my cardiologist going on 16 years or more and I would not see anybody else outside of his practice. He has a great bedside manner and is very caring . I live 50 minutes his office and still will not change to a cadiologist closer to where I live; Because to me Dr.Fierstein is too good and I am very happy to stay with him.

I have a history of heart disease. I have had a triple by pass and alot of stents. On Wednesday I saw Dr Fierstein at Jeans Hospital. I was getting shortness of breath and pain in chest and shoulder And BP was 201 over 92 .They ran a stress test on me. Hours later Dr Fierstein came in my room and very rudely told me that I shouldn't run to hospital everytime I have chest pains and he left.Didnt even give me the chance to say anything . Even the patient in the next bed couldn't believe how rude

After having told my 72 year old, pacemaker dependant mother, that she had a blocked carotid artery and that this may have caused a mini stroke, Dr Fierstein instructed my mother to drive herself to the hospital immediately. He made no attempt to contact a family member to drive her. He did not call for a car service or medical transport company. He told her to drive herself, which she did and proceeded to get into a motor vehicle accident, in which she totaled destroyed her car and risked injury to herself and others. This is absolutely inexcusable behavior for a so called medical professional. The scary part is that it turns out this is the second time he has done this, the other time being when he believed she may be having a heart attack or just recovering from one. Absolutely amazing.
