Had to get my gallbladder removed after my first pregnancy. She believed me when I explained the amount of pain it was causing and the appointment with her was brief but she got me into surgery within a few days and now I feel so much better.

She did my sister's gastric bypass years ago, and just did mine 6 months ago. Very caring and intelligent Dr...she's friendly and answers all our questions. Truely cares about we patients. I would recommend her 100 percent!

My boyfriend has a large lump protruding from his abdomen. He went to Dr Duke and she wanted to do surgery for a hernia without taking any scans of his abdomen to see what is going on!! im a registered nurse and knew that we should take scans of his abdomen before opening him up. Took him to Pittsburgh and it is more complicated than she thought! The surgeon ordered a scan of his stomach and he has a huge hole!! Thank god I am a nurse!!

Dr. Duke is amazing! She is very caring warm and friendly, I love her! She explained everything that she was going to do, how long the operation may take and what to expect during recovery.

Dr. Duke was consistent and got right to the point. She did what she thought would help me best. Appointments were short but informational. I would definitely go back to her and recommend anyone to her!

Horrible experience. Felt dismissed for lack of insurance. Felt as though sent home with a death sentence since condition will worsen according to her, yet she is not willing to fix it. I was sent to Conemaugh to have surgery, then she tells me no. 2 different stories, not even a follow up with referring physician about supposed miscommunication, etc.
