List of Teresa Malec's Reviews
I can’t believe I got a bill for her services. She barely came all the way into the exam room, asked a question and told me to see a specialist. I had gone to her on weekend because my specialist was not available.
Dislocated Finger
More worried about testing for Covid and pushing the vaccine than actually doing an exam. Very rude and unprofessional. She needs a career change.
This physician is AWFUL! She was incredibly rude from the moment she walked in the door. I tried explaining my concerns to her and she cut me off, would not answer questions and made me feel as if I was bothering her! This woman should not be in medicine.
I saw a different doctor today than my regular doctor and he was very kind and very nice his name is Ralph
Dr. Malec is a young doctor who is just starting. She listens and tries to help her patients. She inherited a group of patients from Dr. Csikos who had been a doctor since 1977. He was well liked by his patients but some of his methods could be questioned. Like he ordered a lot of tests and many may not have been needed. He "retired" and suddenly he was working again. I am happily receiving care in Massachusetts.
Dr. Malec was thorough and arranged for an ultrasound to be completed right away. She also provided me with immediate results of my condition. She was professional and respectful.
I went to this doctor twice. In the first visit, she just ordered some blood work, which I understood. She didn't really want to do much until after the blood work came back. Fine..... My next appointment was scheduled, I came back ready to talk about a few problems I was having (pain in my lower back and swollen lymph nodes--nothing too unusual). She then rudely told me that she didn't expect me to have a "list of complaints" when I came back--that the appointment was for bloodwork review only. The kicker: when I got annoyed by her attitude, she told me that I needed counseling! Dear God....there is something seriously wrong with this woman. Do not go!!!!
Horrible doctor. She is rude, unprofessional, and has little knowledge for a doctor. I made an appointment with her to discuss the prescriptions she and my arthritis doctor had me on. She told me it was a pointless appointment, yelled at me, and left the room without even saying a word. She had said she couldn't even spell the medicine I was on. Every doctor, PA, and nurse, that I've encountered since was extremely familiar with the drug and advised I avoid Dr Malec because of her ignorance and how she treats her patients. She told me to find a new doctor, so I did. Still angry I had to pay for that visit with her when she didn't do anything but yell. Billing told me they had lots of complaints similar to mine from patients. In her words- Find a different doctor.
She was the worst. She was rude: when I went in to go over bloodwork results, I mentioned an injury. She clearly only wanted to discuss bloodwork, and seemed annoyed that I brought up my injury. But....shes the one who asked if there were any changes. Shes cocky, rude, and talks down to patients. She seems to hate her job. Avoid!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
