Hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever seen! He takes time and LISTENS and truly seems to empathize with me. You do not find this too often. He is very knowledgeable and wants to genuinely help!!! Hopefully he stays at this location or I will be traveling to go to him!😊

Dr. Chakunta always has good eye contact, asks multiple questions about me and my family, and tries to gather a well rounded picture of what's going on in my life. I really enjoy working with him, and he makes me feel very comfortable at each visit.

I have seen Dr. Chakunta myself for anxiety and depression and along with my son for the same plus substance abuse issues. He is a wonderful physician and person. You don’t see many physicians like him anymore. He takes as much time as you need for your appointment and you can tell he cares!! Makes eye contact while talking, asks appropriate questions, etc. Very intelligent, knows his field very well.

I am so sad to lose Dr Chakunta, as a doctor! To date, the best psych I've had. He listens to patient feedback, is extremely respectful, takes time to address concerns, always polite and considerate - Dr Chakunta is a rare breed of doctor, these days. He will be very missed by this patient.
