I truly believe that God introduces specific people in our path to help when we need it. I was not having the most excellent morning today, and having to go to the Dermatologist for the first time in a little longer than usual made that anxiety a little stronger; especially because the Doctor I’ve been seeing for years retired. So a new Dermatologist, somewhat of a stressful morning, and I’m sitting in the room in my underoos, waiting for an unfamiliar face to check on me. Well, Dr. Milstein comes in with this larger than life smile and kindness, like he knew I was in need of a Positivity shot! What a caring individual, gushing about my “perfect skin” and just making me feel like a million dollars! I just need to wear sunscreen everyday. Duly noted Doc. Thank you for making my day! Go get your sunscreen on everyone!

Dr. Milstein has always taken very good care of me. He is a super nice person and treats you with respect and caring. Today I called to make an appointment with him to check lesions on my scalp. The telephone answering system commands you to make several button pushes before you actually talk to a person. The person I spoke to asked for info as to name, dob, and phone number as well as service I desired. He said that he would make an appointment for me in July, but wanted to know my insurance info right now. I told him that I was an established patient and the info is on file and there are no changes, and I would bring in my cards when I came in. He told me I would have to telephone the office with the information before I came in., and he would not relent. I told him that I thought it was ridiculous to make this long call and then another additional one to see the doctor. The conversation then deteriorated and was terminated. This office was never like this before—cold, impersonal , and scripted. Disgraceful! What a shame.

The visit was excellent, however one of the prescriptions was not called in correctly. When I called, I was promised a call back by the next business day. I have not received that call or any indication that the problem was addressed
