List of Geri Bacu's Reviews
I went to Dr Bacu after being referred by my pcp. I had a popular insurance but still called to check that they took it and was assured they did. Once I arrived and was in treatment, Dr Bacu decided she didn’t want to mine bc she didn’t think I could afford my copay because I was young. She actually yelled at me in her waiting room. She was extremely dismissive of my symptoms, extremely rude in general but the worst was when a medication she gave me made me ill. I worked an hourly job and asked for a note because I had to miss work to go see her about the medication. She told me no and that it’s my problem, not hers. She also told me to just deal with the vomiting with the medication. She also regularly told me I was too young for the pain I was experiencing despite my tests linking it to lupus. She was just awful to deal with as a patient and I recommend staying far away from her.
Absolutely terrible. Have been coming to her for past 3 years. I have never once left satisfied. It seems more of a battle of intelligence than an appointment. I realized the lack of quality care when I was walking out through the waiting room. There was not a single person that remotely seemed ok 2 people barely able to walk in one man moaning in pain just taking his jacket off it seems I'm not the only one having issues with the queen.
Dr. Bacu is great with explaining what is happening with your body and how arthritis is affecting it. She always checks labs to insure your overall health. She noticed things with my labs and referred me to another specialist that could help me with osteoporosis and diabetes. I highly recommend her and her staff. She will do everything she can to help you.
Excellent doctor! She always listens and involves me in deciding treatment options for pmr. She is very friendly and I have the utmost faith in her as my doctor. Highly recommend!!!
Do not waste your time on this one. I have been seeing her for several years. She never listens to my concerns, and has even asked if I am a new patient. On two occasions she had no record of the blood work that I had completed for her. I can not switch to another doctor right now, due to several circumstances, but as soon as I can, I will be glad to leave this one behind.
Terrible. Waited 50 minutes during my first appointment. She was rude during the visit, didn't bother to read the 10 page questionnaire, then chastised me for not remembering everything I had wrote down on the history. She was unable to diagnose me as well. My last appointment she said "you feel pretty good right now? We'll see you in a couple months". Nope, I went to an AHN doc and got diagnosed with Pallandromic rheumatism and put on meds immediately. Her expertise stopped 20 years ago.
She is one if the best doctors I ever went to. Seems a little hard but she is concerned an she cares. She spent just rush you in and out like sheep. She takes time and will get results right Cheryl howaed
After reading the reviews I wasn’t sure what I would get when I met Dr. Bacu. She and her staff were competent and answered every question completely. She was very nice and seem to really know her stuff. I would recommend Dr. BACU
Dr. Bacu is professional and efficient. She monitors my condition with each visit.
I see this doctor in her Kittanning PA office location. Dr Bacu is very thorough and complete with diagnostic lab inquiries/results and she will explain anything that you will have questions on. She is compassionate, smart, and listens to my concerns. I will recommend Dr Bacu.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
