I would definitely recommend Dr. Tuckman to anyone who is considering foot/ankle surgery. He explained procedures (3) I was having, what to expect post-operative and activities I was able to do. He was both professional and personable. My husband and I were both pleased with his care.

Dr. Tuckman diagnosed my painful foot condition quickly and with a thorough explanation. After listening and answering my questions, Dr. Tuckman emphasized, that to avoid surgery, I needed to be diligent with my heel cord stretching exercises. Before even introducing himself the first thing Dr Tuckerman said to me is "your foot is falling off" very rude, cold man. I cried when I left he actually had know idea what he was doing, save yourself a trip and go to another smarter doctor. The nurse was the only kind person in the office

If you’re looking for a good foot surgeon, I can recommend Dr. Tuckman. Just be sure you do your homework and ask very specific questions regarding your procedure, other options, recovery instructions, recovery time, percentage that do not get good results, etc.. I’ve had two procedures and both times there was a lack of communication from him and his staff in all areas. I was last ensured that having a fusion would GUARANTEE no future pain but I was not told that a small percentage of patients will not have a complete fusion.

I was very please with Dr. Tuckman. He did my ankle surgery 2 yrs ago. It was the best thing I did. He explains all procedure well that I wan understand. Very friendly.
