As an Advanced Practice Nurse I have had the honor of working alongside Dr. Welch in the operating room and providing anesthesia to her patient's during their c-sections. This time, I was her patient. I had already admired her skills and treatment of her OR staff members. I now have the chance to admire her treatment of her patients. She is kind, respectful, a true listener and patient advocate. She is thorough and has never once made my appointments feel rushed or as if I am "just another" patient in her day. She always ensured to cover all options, and discuss what was safest in her opinion for myself and our baby. Healthcare these days is a challenge. Dr. Welch is a strong and knowledgeable provider in all aspects of her care. I cannot speak highly enough of my C-section experience with Dr. Welch: from my pre-op eval, the surgery itself, to my 6 week postpartum appointment.
